@PokemonlordBlack Dr.Snapped has about 4100ish HP or so, and can hit twice, a double trouble healer that is set to focus on healing will help and you will still be able to attack, but my question is, are you using buffs to increase defence and/or speed at all?
no...not really. -_- mostly, i've been focused on using monsters with high attack strength...but i suppose that a triple healing monster would come in handy, and i really gotta start using buffs in battles. <=]
@PokemonlordBlack you should consider buffs, raise a monster on the side with buffs and see what you would like, then use the phoenix staff to fuse him into a monster you already have and level him up to match your team.
since a lot of bosses have outragous stats, it would be wise to help your own team with buffs.
2 things for each side. like it or hate it, here we go.
DQM
1.Is more for a hard core experence. to re-breed monster to the point where they can get 999 of 'A' stat (when there are potentially so many), when most monsters can only get 400-600 at times, takes time and patience.
2.The list of monsters may not be as long as pokemon, but with a potential of 3 skill sets to each monster,making the same monster as someone else by chance is slim.(con)
As for pokemon, its equally as good when it comes down to it, its like apples and oranges people.
1.IV and EV training can push competitive training methods to the next level, but it also has a talent as a game that someone who doesn't know either, or about egg moves can still enjoy it and find it more or less a satisfying experence throughout the game, which takes a lot to do when you can make a game made for everyone, just not like DQMJ, but again, 2 different systems.
2. the amount of pokemon, even though its large can be a amazing thing, DQMJ doesnt have types per say, but for pokemon, the true challange is making a team, which you like, can support your style,and is good against other types.one comment i read before said "i see pokemon as a RPG with 649 different characters" but the amount of customization could be just as much as DQMJ in some parts. but with the types of pokemon, i think it has the advantage to make teams harder to make.
@Shauny7188 and i guess a third point for pokemon and one for DQMJ
3. unlike DQMJ, which stats can be obtained easily given enough time. it dependent on Luck as well, i've lost to some people who have has 28-31 straight down the board for IV's for all there pokemon, took him awhile, and was legit too. but luck is more in pokemon than DQMJ. but same time, its a great feeling when you have an good IV'd pokemon of a good nature.
3. The ability to make any monster over again is always a great thing to change anything at anytime, something pokemon doesn't have. also no monster have movepools. just a potential endless mixture of skillsets. which is something pokemon cant have(set moves and a few egg move) compared to any monster having any skill.
its been 11 months since this debate started, and i doubt it will stop, but Enjoy what you like best. and dont say boo if someone likes one more than the other. <3

have 100% monster (even snapped, gemslime, dragovian lord, wildcard...)+ skill collection (even uberskills) now my goal is just beat my best friend with weird teams like low class monsters (F-C)
and dont think they are not powerful! F monsters can easily beat Xmonsters if well trained :D, btw if you have any questions about anything in the game just ask

best monster (in my oppinion there is no best), but best monster if you look at total stats (hp+mp+atk+def+ag+wis) is LUMP WIZZARD, no i'm not kidding, he has total stats of 5320, beats every X and much of any others (if you dont believe me, max stats he can achieve are 820hp, 590mp, 720atk, 980def, 690agi and 690 wis)
others in the upper ranks are capsichum (yes that F monster has grand total of 5220) and rhaptorne I (total of 5300)
@grtg1231 Honestly, i like the 3 i used before is the Mischevious Mole(major tank and he has a shovel) Lump Wizzard like you said, also for the fact he resists all magic if memory serves me well. and just the basic slime (for lolz) or Fencing Fox which has the early bird ability. (if not, i used metal slime night with a Hp boost, which was a healer cause he countered 3 times if he has the lowest HP and then just healed it all the same turn. )but i agree, i wish more people saw how good they are.
@grtg1231 and even though Metal Slime knight and Fencing Fox is D ranked, i think their traits puts them above a lot of monsters. also sorry for the double comment, but i am glad someone out there truly knows how to play this game, instead of just "i want don mole plz" or "Rhapthorne II/Nimzo is the best!" kind of players. this game (and now #2 come August 28th) has the potential to have true diversity in the game even though everyone could have the same team. can't wait for #2 (:
@funny2allways1 well he isnt invincible, he's easy to beat if opp has some monsters based on critical atks
but still he's like the best healer for tournaments because he lasts long, if you give him uber health boost that is. If you get one of those slimes to like 200 hp opp will have hard time hitting cuz all magic hits zero :D
if your looking for good atker I would go for double troubles, but that is just oppinion
@alidonia100 carry a bunch of medicinal herbs and train your monsters at night.(Try to scout a skelegon, there super powerful for your status in the game.)
@AutomatonGames it is very worth it to get it for your b-day. the wifi battles being removed means you can`t battle your friends as much, you still can sometimes with other options.
Erm i never knew that your "Roboster" Can attack twice because when i had a Demon-At-Arms? (idk name) Whenever i gave it an order it never attack twice but when i didnt give it an order it didnt attack twice
@Hytf1 Their trait makes it so if you give them a order, it counts as one, if you let them attack based on the tactic set to them, they will attack twice, the game doesnt let 2 imputs for a monster like that. its a shame. but through this video, i always "skip" his turn so he fights and is able to use 2 moves instead of one which i imput for him.

@HyperHoundoom123 sinthisise two ordenery slimes together and get the monster u create to above(or on) lvl 10, then do the same with two other slimes.
and if they are both minus or both plus or both neutral, you cant get one, cause you then need to sinthisise the monsters u get from those slimes, THEN u get a king slime. also, if thats to coplicated, u can find one if you keep going up and down the rope on infant isle to the scout stone and checkin near the scout stone, and he will come there.
Im stuck in this battle, ITS TOO HARD, and my monsters are all like 40 level, well I havent tryed this for long time, and last time my monsters were like 30 level, now i could win this!
@NewMasterA1 i agree and disagree, skill sets are easy to get, but getting them on what you want takes more than EV training or breeding to get good IV's. least to me, but thats just what i think. but if anything i agree, but its just i have a easier time breeding them the way i want and moves and what not (just takes time) versus getting a Dr.Snapped, or a Uber healer, which sometimes takes more. but each is different, just saying to him that i think DQMJ is harder to get things. thus complex,
@Bonanca1302 While DQM is more complex than Pokemon, you're simplifying Pokemon a bit. In Pokemon IVs and EVs are important to being successful, as well as nature, plus there are Egg Moves and TMs. Pokemon is pretty complex, actually.
@Bonanca1302 In Pokemon you have to combine specific creatures in order to get certain abilities and moves. Not to mention the process of IV breeding and EV training. Pokemon actually is more complex than this game, if you count the hidden mechanics.
@Kirbychu1 In DQM every Monster has his own Qualkitys. Since when u have to combine specific Pokemon to get Abilities? For EV u only need to find some specific Pokemon and grind them. IV Breeding is maybe the most complexive, but for that u dont need to think much about it, u just have to look at the stats.
And Creating a team is easy 2, u just need to combine different Types of the Pokemon.
@Bonanca1302 Actually Pokemon is WAY more complex with that. You spend hours EV training them, you breed them for specific natures and egg moves, even chain breeding multiple times. You shiny hunt. There is MUCH more to it.

@savagetoons Thanks, it was 2 night clubbers as grandparents and 2 Mischievous moles as the other grandparents, was raising it on the side during the game, and its just really strong, it has 570 attack at lv 30, and it can be raised till 99.
lucky, when i fight the two at the start, the mohawker oomphs the buffalogre, and the buffalogre psyches up, and its really hard to dodge that, even for me...
@kefka50 its actually quite hard, i got mine as a reward from collecting either monsters or skills, but there is a site which i go to for help, its DQMJinfo[dot]com, and it has everything you need to get one, but youtube wouldnt let me make a comment as long as i need probably to tell you how.
@xXRygar06Xx you need captain crows ability with 100 on it, its called "Master of Weapons", i think also warrior gives it too. but thats what i put on Don mole in this vid.
Dragon quest monsters is always going to be a better game for playing value, BUT if it has a FC code it would be the best. but sadly it doesn't at all, which is a bit of a kill, pokemon is more enjoying the game even if you dont get it at all (ie no ev training just beating it) then yes, DQM is superior, but if you go by how hardcore gamers go, pokemon ads strategy when it comes to you have to use, when DQMJ makes it, you make a monster all 999 but you need alot of work. patience vs choices.
i'm torn between them, but i doubt this games will cross over. but if they did, DQMJ would win (since highest attack is 320 or something, and anyone can have 999 attack XD)
It is actually quite easy to do. You fuse a set of 2 Mischevious Moles (Rank F) and a set of Night Clubbers (Rank S) to get the pompous but powerful Don Mole.
I have a mumboh jumboe to it kicks ass :) I hope to see you on wifi. I truly hate Double Trouble Only Teams to me its just plain cheating cause theirs going to dish out 6 attacks in turn which you know is gonna kill you if their powerful.

On that website, I don't understand what it means by "Grandparent" when it's synthesised. In this order, "Beshemoth Slime", "Beshemoth Slime", "King Cureslime", and "Metal King Slime" are the "Grandparents" for "Darkonium Slime". Could you (or anyone else) please explain that to me?
@MYou144 it means, parents = synthed. what you synthed for them, is a grandparent, so a if you mix 2 slimes, and 2 slimes, you will get two offprings of two slimes, but since those ones have already parents as 4 slimes, when you breed those 2 together, you will get a king slime, so you need 2 knight clubbers and 2 mischevious moles for it.

@NewMasterA1 i agree and disagree, skill sets are easy to get, but getting them on what you want takes more than EV training or breeding to get good IV's. least to me, but thats just what i think. but if anything i agree, but its just i have a easier time breeding them the way i want and moves and what not (just takes time) versus getting a Dr.Snapped, or a Uber healer, which sometimes takes more. but each is different, just saying to him that i think DQMJ is harder to get things. thus complex,

@Bonanca1302 While DQM is more complex than Pokemon, you're simplifying Pokemon a bit. In Pokemon IVs and EVs are important to being successful, as well as nature, plus there are Egg Moves and TMs. Pokemon is pretty complex, actually.

@Bonanca1302 In Pokemon you have to combine specific creatures in order to get certain abilities and moves. Not to mention the process of IV breeding and EV training. Pokemon actually is more complex than this game, if you count the hidden mechanics.

@Kirbychu1 In DQM every Monster has his own Qualkitys. Since when u have to combine specific Pokemon to get Abilities? For EV u only need to find some specific Pokemon and grind them. IV Breeding is maybe the most complexive, but for that u dont need to think much about it, u just have to look at the stats.
And Creating a team is easy 2, u just need to combine different Types of the Pokemon.

@Bonanca1302 Actually Pokemon is WAY more complex with that. You spend hours EV training them, you breed them for specific natures and egg moves, even chain breeding multiple times. You shiny hunt. There is MUCH more to it.

@savagetoons Thanks, it was 2 night clubbers as grandparents and 2 Mischievous moles as the other grandparents, was raising it on the side during the game, and its just really strong, it has 570 attack at lv 30, and it can be raised till 99.

Dragon quest monsters is always going to be a better game for playing value, BUT if it has a FC code it would be the best. but sadly it doesn't at all, which is a bit of a kill, pokemon is more enjoying the game even if you dont get it at all (ie no ev training just beating it) then yes, DQM is superior, but if you go by how hardcore gamers go, pokemon ads strategy when it comes to you have to use, when DQMJ makes it, you make a monster all 999 but you need alot of work. patience vs choices.

It is actually quite easy to do. You fuse a set of 2 Mischevious Moles (Rank F) and a set of Night Clubbers (Rank S) to get the pompous but powerful Don Mole.

I wish we could give our monsters orders cause seriously my monsters are total retards and they do all these move at inappropriate times. Like doing some dumb shit thats going to fail anyway when they really should be casting omniheal. I'm ranked in 1000-1005 in global and 500's in regional. Yah I NEVER run into anyone with this game cause everyone else is into the pokemon fad. They should put FC in it on WIFI. How come the never change the special? Its always rank F monsters.

On that website, I don't understand what it means by "Grandparent" when it's synthesised. In this order, "Beshemoth Slime", "Beshemoth Slime", "King Cureslime", and "Metal King Slime" are the "Grandparents" for "Darkonium Slime". Could you (or anyone else) please explain that to me?

@MYou144 it means, parents = synthed. what you synthed for them, is a grandparent, so a if you mix 2 slimes, and 2 slimes, you will get two offprings of two slimes, but since those ones have already parents as 4 slimes, when you breed those 2 together, you will get a king slime, so you need 2 knight clubbers and 2 mischevious moles for it.

Ruins are good, but ALWAYS move last cause of the last word trait they have. but they have very good stats for a x rank (most dont have good stats)

no i dont think so, i have tara's adventure (a game i put 100's of hours into with my old neighbour.) but in that game they didnt mention Dr.Snap at all, or Dr. snapped. but i remember the roboster v2 doctor reminded me of the dr.V who competes with Dr.Snap.
