@Cocalafocaloca They really broke up out of the blue. I remember hearing them all around and then they just sort of disappeared. I only found out they broke up recently when lead singer Jeff Martin came to town touring his solo album.

By the way, that solo album is worth hearing. It's alright (not nearly as good as anything by TTP though)

@Cocalafocaloca These guys were borderline Gods where I grew up, I grew up in Brantford only a short drive from Ottawa where they formed...had the pleasure of seeing them some 30+ times (including a few during the Splendor Solis tour in a community center, this is before they were playing huge venues) and they never failed to blow me the fuck away

How old are you? These guys have been around FOREVER ..... they were famous when I was 15 or so .... so around 1995. They were even a Doors cover band called the Black Door, before they became "The Tea Party" They are from Ontario, and i swear to fucking GOD Jeff Martin is Jim Morrison's illegitimate son.

And they just got back together this year. I saw them on the 21st and they were PHENOMENAL. Blew the roof off. I get to see them again on the 6th of August. :D

@ktezyfon The Tea Party is amazing. I was so upset when they split up back in 2004, but Jeff Martin- the lead singer- has a new project called The Armada... same kind of stuff. He also had a solo album a few years back. Totally awesome. :)
