  • Love that the band is playing "Man! I Feel Like a Woman!" haha this is great :)

  • Why does this look so wrong?

  • Only Girls play Timbrels in the Salvation Army, and that video you made is Weird.

  • LOL! funny

  • JAJAJAJAJA MUY SIMPATICOS!! COMO TODO VA A SER TAN SERIO NO? MUCHAS THANK YOUªª

  • I would like to say, when are you coming to the British Territory and here within the South Yorkshire Division and Sheffield.

  • @MrChristopher2003 haha....who knows. they are currently in Aus. =]

  • You have worked hard at that guys :) - Much better than the two women on Britains got talent earlier this year!

  • I've been a timbrelist since I was on the cradle roll. What an amazing brigade! You guys were fantastic, It was a pleasure watching that! Thank you, gentlemen.

  • Fantastic!! I've played for over 30 years myself, and this is the first male brigade I've ever seen. Great job guys! Loved it!! Funny stuff!

  • Excellent job well done by the all male brigade. I have been playing for 40 yrs now started when I was 4. My aunt was the leader. I enjoy worshiping with the timbrel and arts for King David Danced before the Lord with timbrel. Never take worship as a joke.

  • Wow nice job!!

  • This is an amazing act for sure! You guys should go out on tour!

  • wow, i like, nice routine, guys!!!

  • thats unreal i never seen a male do it to a timbrel

  • Who are these losers hahahaha!! Great work boys!

  • @luketerra1990 you wish you could have been there dont ya luke! =]

  • Chileno....I think its stinkin hilarious!!! Have a sense of humor!

  • @hamperchild

    Dear Krysten,

The laughter throughout the whole thing spoilt it for anyone wishing to take it seriously, as seriously as those who played the timbrels.

Reminder: Playing the timbrel is an act of worship and not something to be considered amusing, nor even evaluated, by you or anyone in the attending congregation.

    Cheers.

  • @YesYesYoureRight we were laughing because it was a surprise performance. no-one knew it was happening...they had practiced for ages without telling anyone. hence why it was funny!!

  • @dancerbrit Dear Brit, Thanks for your response. . Are they still together practising the timbrel; going out on open-air meetings? . Or, is it simply too hot for that !? Cheers. from, del-boy.
  • @YesYesYoureRight haha...no this was just a one off performance for a talent show... =] i dont think they have done anything else..some of those guys dont go to the church anymore. ive moved to the uk so i havent heard anything, but i would have if they had done it again. =]

  • @dancerbrit Dear Brit, Thanks for your response. I'm glad that you've left this vt. on you-tube even though you've re-located. . Do you think the men timbrel players were just doing it for a dare; to see if any sexist people would complain? Maybe? . Perhaps your new Salvation Army can do the same thing? A junior soldier boys timbrel brigade! I think folk are more accepting of "weak" gender boundaries in Australia, compared with the UK. What say you? Cheers. from, del-boy.
  • I am a timbrelist in AU. And well done boys. A lot of female timbrelists can't play that well. All I can say is that if that is the first time any of you have played (and I expect that it is) you had exceptionally good technique and came out with the desired comedy act as well....You must have had a great teacher...

  • this is not funny... im a men i play timbrel in my corp... thats cuz people today doesn´t like to play this beautiful instrument

  • @chileno1883

    Hello,

I saw you, you're performance is great.

    Congratulations.

    Cheers.

  • When will you be on tour?

  • once in a lifetime performance...sorry!

  • Dear Dancer brit. very nice. When I went to the Salvation Army in the ninteen-sixties, it was...probably forbidden that male should play the timbrel. . I used to play with my sisters, she didn't like it so Mother bought her a cornet she played in the band, instead. . Once at music camp some nice daughter of an officer, gave me a lesson. . I got the nack of it better then. . I didn't like the politics of the concept of group; something you overcame to play timbrel nowadays, i suppose.
