  • great stuff

  • kauan kauan aikaa sitten joskus vuonna 1964-1965 eräs Kuopiolainen porukka aloitti ja lopetti konsettinsa aina tällä kappaleella. en vaan muista porukan nimeä.

  • starting at 1:52 it looks like they got to go pee. LOL Love The shadows!

  • Wow! The sycronized stepping is corny.

  • Superb! I'm digging these guy more and more every day. They've become my new idols as of late. Spectacular fluidity to their sound and I'm amazed by their stage presence. The Tops!! Great post! My band's gonna cover this one, too - it's too good to pass!

  • I'm happy I wasn't born in these ages.

  • @Mirrorbeholding I'm happy you weren't born in these age

  • @labroable I am not born in these ages.

  • @Mirrorbeholding so don't leave comments please or f..ck you

  • @labroable What are you, someone who thinks his comment is command?

  • The Shadows were the great pioneers for everything that turned into tecnique into the rock history. They had a level in musicianship higher than american rock groups. British people during cold war in their movement were much more dedicated to try to get an authentic signature. After the Shadows we know that the Beatles and the resi is history

  • Awesome Hank Marvin!!!

  • cool!

  • The version with Spotnicks is much better!!!

  • I want a Burns Bison they sound so good

  • @twoslices its a baldwin Guitar not a burns Bison they first used Burns Marvin Guitars from 63 to 65 then the Burns factory got taken over to produce baldwin guitrs which do look like the burns

  • @shadogie59

    Thanks for the correction.

  • Do these guys sing?

  • @Marty718

They were best known for their instrumentals, but when they did occasionally burst into song they made a great job of it. What stands out is the fact that they obviously enjoy what they're doing - not like the modern generation who give the impression that every note causes them excruciating pain! If it hurts that much, you'd think they would stop. I wouldn't mind!

  • Muy lindo!!!

  • Buenisimo, fabuloso!!!

  • Stage presence

  • i wish i was born in the fifties like my dad, but the was a major floor in what i said. I was born in 1996!

  • Daft Sods!!! They forgot to plug in to their amps. LOL. this is from the album Dance With The Shadows... great album

  • great baldwin burns

  • Swingin'!

  • They all sure looked happy, didn't they?

  • brings back a lot of memories

  • Cool! The Shadows all happy and groovin' and In The Mood! (I sure would be too if I had one of their boss guitars!)

Neat lil' dance steps and that 'swing the guitar' movements. A fine version of this great song. Five stars!

(Hank B Marvin has that Soupy Sales look going on here.. lol!)

Ultra boss video. -- - Wally

  • Yeah...60´s Easy Lisening

  • this is good but i love much better brian bennets album voyage its just something else recommended...

  • they rock so sweet :-)

  • The guy in the glasses just happens to be HANK B MARVIN Yea the one and only!! A LEGEND!!!

  • The guy in the glasses looks like he's having a great time

  • Well then he must be "In The Mood". =)

  • man blow the dust off of that one...lol

  • Brilliant version! What a sound!!!

  • How innocent music was back then

  • This song pre-dates them by nearly 30 years.

    But yeah, you're right

  • Teh dude with the glasses is very very happy! I wonder why!?

  • He is on LSD...

  • No, no, someone told him just before the show that he is NOT the father.

  • FABULOUS!!!

  • I was born in the wrong decade, this is fantastic!

  • Correction:- Just had a senior moment The Cranberry Fold Inn gig was on Monday 14th August 1967 not in the 80's but chatting with them for 20 minutes was something I'll never forget

  • Saw them open the show with this one at The Cranberry Fold Inn in the 80's and met them after the show. They sang through their amps too with Olivia Newton John and Hank's wife working the lights Still got my autographed ticket Serial No 001

  • My apologies to Glenn Miller, but this the best version of the song....

  • Correction: I just heard Ernie Fields' version.

  • why the hell aren't they swinging it D:

i love instrumental surf rock, but frankly this isn't worthy of being played in lifts :/

  • The guys are playing the later Baldwin Marvins as opposed to the original Burns Marvins that where designed by Jim Burns & Hank Marvin. Baldwin, an american co. bought Burns guitars out in 1965. Good tune even though they're miming!!!

  • Fantastic cover.

  • i didnt really like it

  • The Burns guitars Bruce and Hank play have strange pickguards.

  • Yeah - I thought that as well! The top section is missing from the top arch.

  • USSS COMO SE SALEN!!!!!!

  • The Thieman Brothers play it better with a great show.

  • Shut up, please.

You don't know what you're talkin bout.
