  • Love, love, love!

  • These guys rock soooo!!!! Used to have this track all so often as my profile toon in the god ole days of My Space -,am in UK - Twitter TerryTyler4 - loving you guys so much!

  • AND THE TICKET LIKES THIS BAND? THEY NEED A GOOD SINGER!!!!

  • They didn't "stick" her on the bass, she fucking loves it and kills it.

  • Wooooooooooooooooooov..........

  • Wow, Cooley's shredding at 2:20

  • 2 people didn't have luck and got caught.

  • How come they always stick the girl on the bass guitar? Is that like the music industry's version of playing right field in little league?

  • Oh yeah. Stroker Ace!

  • Bought tickets today for the Vancouver show

  • cooley is the shit. daddy's cup will bring a tear to my eye. 3 dimes down, gravity's gone. that boy is a nice guy too. love your cd sticker descpription of the band, right on. live shows are sloppy, rockin and beautiful, as you so eloquently stated

  • I saw Tom Petty last night these guys did a nice job opening

  • Tom Petty certainly does not rock

  • They play well but sadly it's noisy with a lot of wrong interferences between instruments... sad but true 4 these good musicians. I'd wish to know my neck as they do...

  • @WILDAIR That's part of the beauty I see in this band. They're noisy, sloppy, their guitars sound drunk, and it all culminates in a huge driving sound that gets my foot tapping or my truck speeding... not to mention, they write lyrics that Bob Dylan would be proud to have written. Go listen to the song "72 (This Highway's Mean)" off of their album Southern Rock Opera and the song "A Ghost to Most" off of Brighter than Creation's Dark. And Cottonseed. And Daddy's Cup.

    I prefer Cooley, I guess.

  • oh hell yeah!!!

Im gettin my DBT FIX for the day ..,.,lol

  • Toads is probably the best place to see a show in the Northeast. You are practically on top of the band. And the sound is great.

  • Dirty south is a great cd but if your just gonna get 1 record of theirs i would go with Souther Rock Opera!

  • Sorry, but this band has no stage presence. Hood and Cooley are fucking song writing geniuses, and SRO and IndyDay are still some of my favorite music, but the best live show ever? Not even.

  • @FrankGrow Yep--not one single bomb, flashing light or costume change.......I'll take a butt-load of that please! Still makes Clapton live look.........dead. LOL

  • @ttraynor1 presence isn't the same as flash. it's a charisma thing, like you can't take your eyes off some performers. It's not about any kind of "stage show". It's subjective i guess, but it definitely has something to do with being entertaining. DBT- I love 'em but I they don't hold my interest live. Thats it.

  • Dude this band kicks ass where have you been! They just released their tenth album they will Rawk you ass off!!

  • These guys don't sound half bad...they are on tour with Tom Petty this year, and I love Petty...can somebody who knows this band a little better let me know their potential of being an entertaining opening act they can be for Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers?

  • Don't miss them! GREAT band with 3 members sharing vocals. Cooley and Hood handle most.

Have 20 songs from their show last night that I'm currently uploading....including 5 from CD being released in a little over a week.

    They rock hard live.

If you want to try out 1 CD, go with the Dirty South.....

  • @slussejs All due respect, but the one you really want to get is Live at Austin City Limits - it's dynamite, and persuaded me to buy up the whole back catalogue - and of course, "Go Go Boots" 8-)

  • @drpst11 Think: Stone/Creedence Clearwater/Neil Young/Skynyrd. Loud. Rockin. Thought provoking lyrics. Musicianship. They are as good as Petty IMO--a pretty good match them playing together.

  • @TGreeny30 That's what I really wanted to say but everyone just clobbers everyone else on youtube, so i am trying to be more understated. It's not as much fun. So: DBT has the the best guitar "wall" since Thin Lizzy and words worthy of Dylan. They push harder than Petty in concert (seen both). They are still very hungry and creative and powerful.

  • Petty rocks, but I looooooooove the Drive By Truckers. This isn't just some fly by night band that is opening for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. They have had some pretty good success and been around for a while. Go buy an album and it won't leave your cd player.....promise.

  • @jarofdirt3132 i second that i went to this tour and i actually went to the tour because of the truckers. Tom Petty (as good as he is) just happened to be there lol

  • They will blow Petty off the stage same as LS blew The Stones off the stage many, many years ago at Knebworth!!! get there early for gods sake!!

  • @1i1feat i'm sorry, but very few bands would be able to "blow petty off the stage", and this is definitely not one of those bands. plus, petty appeals to a broader audience

  • sorprendente bandaaaaa

  • jolly good job boys proof that a glorified ''bar band ''can make it

stones influence on this ?can u hear it ? oh and we like like it ....rock on truckers ...rock on

  • One beltloop away from Sunday's nights news

  • "Totally screwed,

while chicken wing puke eats the candy apple red off his Corvette."

    That's funny.

  • GDMN Shonnas hot

  • so march had a 35th day in 08?

    NEFF is awesome...

  • Mike Cooley is the best singer for me... you are the best Cooley ..

  • I'd bet that hanging out at the aftershow party with DBT would be more fun than ANY band out there.

  • definitely sounds like the rolling stones its amazing!!

  • This song is a good chorus away from being a really great rock n roll song.

  • COOLEY FOR PRESIDENT!

  • sounds like izzy stradlin & the juju hounds!

  • This is just simply BADASS

  • Been a DBT fan for a few years now, can confidently say they're now- dare i say it- my favourite band, and being English is sayin something. I love the whole Southern Thing and just the consistency in quality album after album- badass stuff :) Rockin

  • Am I the only one who thinks DBT is channelling some classic Rolling Stones on this song? It's great!

  • Oh good... I'm not the only one that was getting this impression... now I have some affirmation!

I'm so into this song btw... I have it as DLC for the game Rock Band 2.

  • fuckin-A, these guys fuckin rock.

  • I don't care for country music but I LOVE these guys. If you like The Truckers then check out The Hold Steady.

  • Yes two for one: Both touring together NOW!

  • they are not country

  • I LOVE THE TRUCKERS!!!!!

  • damn, the guitarist to the right is a god!

  • Wasn't this show at the National?

  • Brighter Than Creations Dark is one of the best rock albums I've ever listened to.

  • what a fucking great song- nice video!

  • Thank God for this band and this album, I used to love My Morning Jacket and their new album sucks in my opinion but these guys are right on target.

  • i agree completely, the same with The Decemberists. When they startet making money, the Music, well lets just say i wont buy any more of their records... (a bit off topic byt same story) but hey, DBT is still the same!!

  • awesome solo

  • Great capture!

  • awsome video i loveDBT!!!!

  • Cool video...not much Brighter Than Creations Dark tour videos on youtube. But somebody had to mention....March 35th?

  • cool video..looks like the crowd is a bunch of wieners

  • hahah they do like wieners

  • Cooley = the man
