Can somebody help me? I am dying to watch a movie about WWII but I don't know its name . Its about a women works in the military in search for her husband, She was send to France and she was looking for him. He was actually prisoner and I think he was exucted. I remember at the end the nazi officer told her what happened to him he look similar to Richard Thomas. Then at that moment the fransh resistance shoot him.

That's an interesting compilation... one thing that would be nice would be a list of the movies and series you used. I recognized a few (Iron Cross, the Eagle has Landed, Hogan's Heroes, Night of the Generals...) but there are plenty more I didn't recognize at all.

As far as I know, the German uniformes were designed by Hugo Boss (though I may be mistaken) and were part of the propaganda effect (well, it makes sense. These uniformes sure are a lot nicer than the Allied ones...)

The uniforms of the Third Reich have to be the best designed military uniforms of the 20th Century. My favourite is the Luftwaffe dress uniform.

The Allgemeine (general) SS uniform is also bloody smart - especially the officers version.

I agree. The boots, breeches, tunics, cross belts and peeked caps of the SS were classic and masculine.

They had special gay designers. The later uniforms were not so pretty, but much much more useful. In particular they went to the trouble to make a reversable combat coat with white on one side for winter, and water tan, splinter green or mouse grey on the other. Waste of time as it was warn continuously, and the white got filthy, so overwhites were still needed.
