I have a 775DSP, If I test mine with a Bird Meter ( or a Daiwa CN-801 which gives me the same as the bird) the meter on the radio is dead on, whereas my own MFJ equipment (many) all give various results, and not one of them is acurate. The output power you are showing is NOT a true reading!
would of been nice to see the meter on the radio when it came to the watts being thrown out.. see the difference between the radio meter and the MFJ meter...
should have got a ranger 2950 then

You better tune that radio down to 200 watts if you want the finals to last... GREAT radio,,,

Hiya
Don't believe what the power meter is telling you.
Even the best of power meters (which the MFJ isnt) can easily be 10% inaccurate.
Wideband meters (which the MFJ is) can be very much out.

Hello !
Thanks for the comment.
I know that MFJ is not the most accurate meter, but it is the only one I have.
Maybe someday in the future I´ll be able to get a Bird 43 !
