  • NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

  • 06:33 cornerpieces on edges? xD

  • 0:10 you're brother is going for it, in you're own room!

Thumbs up if you know what movie i'm referring to

  • ROFL @ UR SHIRT. MATH COUNTS HAHAHAAHA FUCKIN NERD

  • @papajo36 OMG HE HAS A BRAIN UNLUCKE YOU LOOK HOW HARDCORE I AM TYPING IN CAPS!!!!!

  • @TheMegaskittles OMG UNLUCKY* YOU BECAUSE YOU SPELLED UNLUCKY WRONG, EVEN A YEAR AGO I WAS SMARTER THAN YOU. BRAINLESS FUCK.

  • @papajo36 OMG EVER HEARD OF A TYPO HARDCORE CAPS GUY!?

  • I think that the v-cube company should have made indents in the corners so they could just put in corner caps on the outside- PURE GENIUS

  • there are not inverted checker patterns...5 sides are the same but the bottom face it defferent...insead of a checker pattern the outer ring on it has all the edges next to corners whit aswell

  • DealExtreme are selling the Dazzler and Illusion as KOs you know. 0,0

  • @beastrock200 i saw those too but i am not sure but i think those are knock offs because they would say v-cube instead of "Irregular Colorful Brain Teaser Magic IQ Cube" but i'm still not sure debating on whether i should get both

  • But u nvr studied the pics properly, betwen the V-Cube's site n DX's site about the cubes. Go back and look n tell if I'm wrong. Besides DX even sells a Black ver. of it instead of White.

  • Just wondering, whenever I see the Gigaminx, it is always scrambled. So, are you still trying to figure out how to solve it? Just wondering because I'm trying to decide if I want one and if it is taking you this long to figure out how to solve it I might not want it

  • lol i got the quad cube a while ago and it still ticks me off, takes a while for me to solve and i always hit parody on the one of the middle cubes.

  • omg u were in mathcounts!! :D

    that was so much fun

my school did it for the first time last year, and of course our region was freakin Bobby shens region lol but it was awesome meeting him and stuff u know he won nationals this year...yeahh...haha spazz moment...but awesome u were in mathcounts!!

  • status update number 18..........

  • You can just make the black side go with the center with the v cube logo, and place the other centers accordingly, so you wont have to apply an extra algorithm at the end.

  • Comment removed

  • The different color plastic idea is actually pretty good... they should do that with all cubes

  • 12.35 lol

  • 4:03 is funny

  • I'm sure someone else probably already found this out, but I noticed that you could solve the Dazzler with two opposite colors switched, since there are no corners.

For example on a regular cube if yellow is on top and blue is front, then red must be on the right. With the Dazzler, either red or orange could be on the right side face.

  • about the illusion if the 3 other sides are inverted you could put pieces together and have a black v-cube 7

  • the color scheme is pretty easy to memorize. you might need to take a few days though.

  • you've been lazy lately

  • they told me that it is scramblable, and you solve it into the checker pattern. if they're wrong, i'm gonna kill them...... oh well. the dazzle is pretty darn cool.

  • I didn't get that newsletter :S

  • maybe its like an evil twin cube or something

  • On the v-cube 7 u can actually take out the corner pieces and it will still turn and function properly

  • Well, yeah, but it would lock up more.

  • actually the black V allows you to find the black side and you can find out the rest of the scheme from there.

  • the illusion is unsolvable, i made a 3d model of it with google sketchup;

the illusion's black edges are always the 2nd, 4th and 6th edge, which means that it is not possible to pair up all the edges #2-6. also, there are only white corners, so yeah, the cube is impossible to solve... a pointless cube...

  • thx dude, make a video im sure alot of people would want to see that :)

  • that is assuming that the other 3 sides are exactly the same as the 3 shown.

  • 4:58

    You painted it wrong

1 cubies only has 1 color

The extended sides (Upper Right, Left and Botom) should have white X, not black

So the checker board pattern will always be in solved position

    _WhiteLynx_

  • Were you paying attention at all? He was illustrating how the puzzle would work if the back 3 sides had an INVERTED checkerboard pattern.

He wasn't trying to recreate the pattern on a 3x3 cube.

  • cube4you are really stepping it up lately! gigaminx, 3x3x5, all that stuff

  • The illusion has 3 black sides and 3 white sides. Its pure logic!

  • Please watch the 4:50 mark.

  • cool

  • Now the V-Cubes don't have nearly as crappy stickers- there are none!

  • you dont say Vuh-log you just say vlog mush it together

  • lol, sorry.

  • its ok it doesn't really matter

  • @VcubeRubiksSquad haha how bout you try speaking for 18 minutes straight and not messing up

  • im in math counts to!!

  • Yeah, I had fun when I was in it too. We were a homeschooled teem :) One of my team mates made it Nationals as part of the Montana team in 2006. I don't remember how they did though :(

  • The Pyraminx Crystal is going to be reproduced by Mefferts in early 2010. I believe the original runs cost was $42, which means that it will be $42 this time as well.

  • do you have to have a V-cube account in order to be able to get the V-Cube Newsletter?

  • Theoretically, without corners on the Dazzler, you could interchange the centers in various ways, ie, switching opposite faces.

Perhaps with the ILLusion, it works like an evil twin.

Also, nice Holey Megaminx, the mechanism seems to be more efficient than that of the Void Cube.

  • I try to contact V-cubes, but every time i try to, the pin code won't take. Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

  • on your tags, you put 2x3x3. don't you mean 2x2x3?

  • Oops...

  • i know a place that still sales about 15 black v-cube 5s.

  • cube4you sells vinyl gigaminx stickers now

  • You can get a Black V-7 right now. You can take 2 illusions apart, and Put them back together, you'd have a white and a black V-7.

  • great idea

  • no. all the corners are white. so if u bought 2 illusions, u wont have black corners.

  • true that

  • @ 16:00 proofs SUCK. i hate those. doing that for the gigaminx would be torture

  • C4U is killing mods D:

Now everyone's going to have a 2x2x3 and such.

  • lol i have that exact same tripod in the far left of the screen

  • How hard is to disassemble and reassemble Holey Megaminx?

  • Rather easy actually. I'll make a video as soon as I can.

  • wait does that mean the checkerd pattern the solved state? and since it cant be strambled whats the point of buying it its like your dodo cube then XD

  • haha lol 4:02

  • 'i dont want to get variations of cubes i already have' quote says the person who has the holey megaminx and void cube

  • lol =p

  • Well those are a bit less expensive. I said in the video that I really didn't want to get variations of different cubes unless they're cheap. I guess I should've said I didn't want to get a variation that was so expensive.

  • you should advise everyone to NOT buy the tower cube, void cubes, or super floppy cube off of c4y because they are knockoffs of the ones made by Mr. Okamoto. you can get them from him if you message hidetoshi on twisty puzzles but the super floppy will not be released until later this year or early 2010

  • everyone buys DIYs and they are not made by erno rubik but no one says anything about that. In my opinion it is only ok to buy knock-offs if they are better than the original or if you have already bought the original

  • yes i realize that but have you seen how many fisher cube KO's there are?? Tony fisher spends a lot of time and money building and patenting puzzles only to have some cheap imitation put him out of buisness. the same thing is happening to the vcubes company, they are thinking of cancelling all plans for the v6b because diasheng stole their plans. there is no difference in Mr. okamoto's case.

  • Burp at 4:02 lol

  • Cant wait to get a black collection

  • the old website is gone and it just takes you to the new site

  • Oh, interesting. Thanks for letting me know.

  • you're welcome

  • i just went there now it's currently 3 pm september 30th

  • The reason of the white corners is the parity! Not because of the colored pieces!!

  • On the other side it's just flipped from white to black, black to white etc.

Anything you see in the picture that appears to be white, you would see the piece as black on the other side. Then it would be able to be scrambled

  • If any of you could read it says that stickers are placed on the illusion

  • Huh? Where'd you see that?!

  • Well now looking over it i see it doesnt come out and say it but i guess i was just assuming but it says

"Cubers who enjoy a little less intensified challenge will enjoy this cube and help build up cubing skills."

I guess i just thought a "less intensified" challenge meant it was supposed to be an extra challenge than the regular cube

  • for the dazler, they wanted to do the first 7 layers with 7 colors

  • i gots a question. i only have a megaminx, 2 3x3's, and a 2x2.should i gt a square 1, a 4x4, or a pyraminx. please reply.

  • yes

  • you should get a 4x4

  • get a 4x4x4 or a pyraminx if u get the pyraminx get a mefferts 25th anniversary pyraminx, theyre back in stock=)

  • is the V-cube logo a sticker on the dazzler?

  • Yep, that's a sticker.

  • ;( my quad cube broke

    good status update

  • You could probably reassemble only with 3 cubes, leaving the cube with the broken piece out.

  • I loves when you say "Gurr" ^-^ Great Video hun keep its ups :D~Xoxo Karen

This is something anyone wrote because of my question wether it can get parity. I didnt understand anything but u can't get one.

  • cube4you had vinyl stickers for gigaminx as well

and you can get 5x5x5 parity on gigaminx for sure

i think... cause i had both cases on 5x5x5 happen on my gigaminx

  • Well I've solved it around 10 times now & have never gotten the parity. If parity was possible, then the probably of not getting parity 10 times in a row is 1 out of 1024 times. Other people on the forums have confirmed that there isn't parity too.

If you've gotten parity then you:

    1) took it apart & didn't reassemble it right, or you,

    2) Matched up some edges wrong. (One example I said in the video is you could've pared an orange light yellow edge with an orange dark yellow.)

  • are you sure?? well i guess you would know better than me. but i swear to god i got parity 2 out of 6 times ive solved it.

maybe try to purposely get parity and see if you can do it

  • In the german speedcuber forum, we also wondered how the illusion can be scrambled. The new V-7s are nice for collectors but are too expensive... I won't buy them...

  • nice update!

  • nice :)

  • very nice
