you are right. That is exactly the way I dealt with my son when he was a baby. The problem is now the parents are taught that they absolutely have to pick their baby as soon as he/she cries. I do not think that it is necessary to react immediately to the the slightest cry...parents have to deal with their own emotions and needs to, as far as there is no danger for the child. Put it back on their crib/bed safely and leave the room with the door shut. As simple as that.

There is a huge difference between systematic and immediate reaction to a baby's cry and to SOMETIMES let a baby cry. When everything has been done (diapers, food, burp etc..)for it's care. Its is a very bad advice to force parents to endure constant stress. A good parent is a parent that can relax itself from time to time. Then, if cries goes on, it is maybe time to see a doctor.

There is a huge difference between systematic and immediate reaction to a baby's cry and to SOMETIMES let a baby cry. When everything has been done (diapers, food, burp etc..)for it's care. Its is a very bad advice to force parents to endure constant stress. A good parent is a parent that can relax itself from time to time. Then, if cries goes on, it is maybe time to see a doctor.

It's healthy for babys to cry ppl... Just not to long... It does few things like strengthens Lungs and vocal abilities and teaches them that crying isn't for attention, it's for when you need something. On the other hand if theres a REAL reason causing the crying, Like Colic, then take the baby to a Doctor! Don't Fucking shake them!!!

im 21 n i have 2 children 3yr boy n 1yr old girl n there truley amazing <3 little girl started learning to walk at 5m so she's now well on her feet n sometimes they run me raggid cause like everyone.. kidies have off days and moments too but even when ive totaly got no more energy and just want them to stay still for more than 2 seconds i just look at them and i really carnt see how people can get soo mad that they can actualy shake the life out of thier babies :( thumbs up if yourve done it too

It is so sad that people lose it for a minute and because of that their baby can die =( I understand how frustrating it can be when a baby and very small children (younger than 18 months) cry and everything you do they won't stop. But it is important to do what you can and then walk away.

Trusting to be fed and trusting to be held is very important for the development of the baby. Babies do not know that they can cry to manipulate you, babies only cry when they are in need of care. Toddlers? Yes. You can leave a toddler to cry, but only after you know they have been cared for. However, I have to agree with you. He should have just let the baby cry.

Some people think because of the title it is real, but as soon as he picked up the baby as if to shake it and held it in that position you knew it was a video.

man my son was a cry face lol whateve i would do for him never seem to help and he would just cry and cry...and i never once shook or hit bear or threw him nothing like that i just simply and gently put him in his crib and let him cry i would check on him every 10 seconds to see if he was ok and eventually he'd fall asleep he's five now and when he starts crying or fussing i put him in the time out room till he cools off
