The man has no clue what he is talking about. Read the report from the IG's office about the visit to the private prison for an inspection last week. NO ONE WAS HOME. no one answered the gate, no one on the perimeter or in the tower. The inspectors went home and filed their report. NO ONE WAS HOME!!!!!!!!!

He doesn't want to save taxpayers money he wants to create a income for himself and his private business owning friends in the future.He states Public Safety and reducing recidivism and saving money are his top priorities, Sorry Ricky but Public safety isn't cheap you cant top service have it for a bargain price. BTW why wont the criminals offend over and over again its not like the opportunities for them to become successful people are around every corner with record unemployment and all.

Exactly, so if it's taxpayers money he shouldn't be so irresponsible of putting the safety of the public tin the hands of the lowest bidding company, especially when it has been proven that privatization does not save the state money, it only cuts jobs jeopordizing the safety of the public. Obviously this guy does not know what he's talking about, he probably has buddies at GEO...

@joann3159 Rick Scotts wife is a big wig with the GEO group and the courts have already ruled that him privitizing the prison system doesnt effect his income? imagine that!
