This also happens to me. Yesterday I plugged in the LPD8 without the Audio 6 and without using timecodes. Just to make sure it wasn't working properly. Guess what...? It worked without doing that sh** :| Today I'll make sure that I isn't failing again...
The pads and knobs are probably mapped to the same CC messages. You should use the editor that came with the LPD8 to change the values first, then re-map in traktor

Hey man, ive had similar issues, this controller clashes with traktors midi assignments. Im trying to map it along side my vms4.

its an issue with your mapping, search those knobs on the mapping and delete all the non wanted actions.
