How to use the scanner and camera wizard and where is it?

I need help. Sometimes it won't upload the stuff like a couple of things and I need them on my computer. How can I stop it from erroring?

Do you know how to turn the thing off? Every time I plug in my iPod Touch, it appears as a camera labbeled 'Apple iPod' under the Scanner and Camera wizard feature in 'My Computer' document'!

Yes I remember when I used to plug the camera in and wonder why it wasn't taking the photos off my camera.
