@a23azza But it's so much harder than rocket science. Certain events must always happen in the same way, while everything else is in flux around them. I feel major births and deaths are a part of those fixed points. And of course there's the philosophical truth that people are not inherently born evil. Only with a predisposition. Is a predisposition worth the death penalty? This is why ideas like the Evil Baby Orphanage spring up when discussing time travel's responsibility to humanity.

@a23azza In Genesis of the Daleks, he was sent by the Time Lords to destroy the Daleks at the moment of their creation. The Daleks being the most evil and destructive force in the universe. He just couldn't do it, he didn't feel like he had the right to destroy another species, no matter evil. Even if he could do it, there are so many complicated problems with time travel. You can't just go about rewriting history.
@a23azza If he were to do that he could create a paradox didn't you watch the episode where Rose tried to save her father or Waters of Mars. They didn't end happily you can't alter history because that would unravel the future as well and could destroy countless worlds and lives or even the fabric of time and space itself. Study up on Physics and time travel you'll learn how impossible it is.

@Yetaxa I just can't bring myself to like Adric more. At least Agyeman could act a bit and was nice to look at. Mostly the second one. Every time I watch Full Circle it is bitter-sweet. It's such a good episode yet I can't help but thinking how great Varsh would have been as a companion instead of Adric.

@Jessjabog I have to totally disagree i preferred Amy over Rose or Martha. The fact is that Amy was not interested in the Doctor so there was no awkwardness between the two of them. While both Rose and Martha just had to proclaim that they were in love with him. Also Amy looked a lot better than the previous Companions.

Matt is the best Doctor, in my opinion. He brings so much energy to the role, it's incredible! I never get bored of an episode, and all of them are always SO fucking mind bending! Hope he stays for a while yet :)

@concavius Nonononononono, you have to start from doctor who from 2005. Do not start from series 6 (that's the latest one)!!! In 2005 they made the first of the new series. It's not called season 1, it's called series 1 (will help to know that when you're looking it up on torrent sites).

Oh Come one people, it doesn't matter if he touches a weeping angel, he IS the Doctor after all, the man of fire and ice, the man who sees the beginning of stars and the end of them too, the on-coming storm. most people who dont like the plot with matt smith as the doctor is usually because its too complicated for some to understand, there is alot of details, it makes you think, a LOT of back and fourth trough time, different time lines, fixed points...so on, its easy for people to get lost and give up, which is really sad since its a great story told the best way possible. or they just miss tennant and hold that against matt....which is also not cool!
Tennant was a great doctor, plot kept him back, i was sad to see him leave (which is what he wanted to do) with that said....Matt Smith is the best doctor so far! he took it to another level, made it more relevant, and of course the story plot helps alot.....really good writing. he is funny and interesting, his delivery and timing is amazing....only thing i hate is that damn bow tie...."bow ties are 'NOT' cool". I love the show, this is just my take on it.
Except that he left willingly. Davies recommended Moffat as the successor, so why would he alienate him? People are "whining" about wanting Tennant back because many people believe he was a good Doctor. I know people that whine about wanting McGann or Eccleston back, because they felt that they were good Doctors. Nobody wants their favorite Doctor to leave. If that what you are saying were the case, then every Doctor was alienated because at least one person wants each Doctor back.
@HaiderNawaz Well i like Smith as well, a lot. But in my opinion Tennants Doctor was great, and so are Matts. Matt shows talent by both being entertaining and have a dark side, and i agree that Smiths Doctor is more fun to watch. Tennants doctor on the other hand makes you believe that he's THE Doctor, not that Smith doesn't, but David just gave a speciel feeling to the show. can't say wich one i love the most.

No, you're repeating yourself. There was plenty of darkness in End of Time, like the entire damn scene on the ship. Accepting death and then actually dying are two entirely different things. Anyone can accept an oncoming death until they're actually faced with the process of dying itself. He didn't alienate anyone; it wasn't Tennant saying he didn't want to go, but that DOCTOR.

The Tenth Doctor was dark and rebellious to his own laws in WoM because he got the mistaken impression that he even could ignore those laws, due to being the "Timelord Victorious." His despondency, if you remember correctly, came immediately after he realized that those laws were absolute, and when he was visited by Ood Sigma. From then on, he realized that he had screwed up and was on his way out. To say that WoM was pointless, and that he was developed poorly, shows poor insight.

Matt is the best Doctor, in my opinion. He brings so much energy to the role, it's incredible! I never get bored of an episode, and all of them are always SO fucking mind bending! Hope he stays for a while yet :)

@concavius Nonononononono, you have to start from doctor who from 2005. Do not start from series 6 (that's the latest one)!!! In 2005 they made the first of the new series. It's not called season 1, it's called series 1 (will help to know that when you're looking it up on torrent sites).

Oh Come one people, it doesn't matter if he touches a weeping angel, he IS the Doctor after all, the man of fire and ice, the man who sees the beginning of stars and the end of them too, the on-coming storm. To be honest the way I see it is, that's one less angel to take care of! Every time I see/hear this it never fails to astonish me, utterly magnificent!

most people who dont like the plot with matt smith as the doctor is usually because its too complicated for some to understand, there is alot of details, it makes you think, a LOT of back and fourth trough time, different time lines, fixed points...so on, its easy for people to get lost and give up, which is really sad since its a great story told the best way possible. or they just miss tennant and hold that against matt....which is also not cool!

Tennant was a great doctor, plot kept him back, i was sad to see him leave (which is what he wanted to do) with that said....Matt Smith is the best doctor so far! he took it to another level, made it more relevant, and of course the story plot helps alot.....really good writing. he is funny and interesting, his delivery and timing is amazing....only thing i hate is that damn bow tie...."bow ties are 'NOT' cool". I love the show, this is just my take on it.

Except that he left willingly. Davies recommended Moffat as the successor, so why would he alienate him? People are "whining" about wanting Tennant back because many people believe he was a good Doctor. I know people that whine about wanting McGann or Eccleston back, because they felt that they were good Doctors. Nobody wants their favorite Doctor to leave. If that what you are saying were the case, then every Doctor was alienated because at least one person wants each Doctor back.

@HaiderNawaz Well i like Smith as well, a lot. But in my opinion Tennants Doctor was great, and so are Matts. Matt shows talent by both being entertaining and have a dark side, and i agree that Smiths Doctor is more fun to watch. Tennants doctor on the other hand makes you believe that he's THE Doctor, not that Smith doesn't, but David just gave a speciel feeling to the show. can't say wich one i love the most.

No, you're repeating yourself. There was plenty of darkness in End of Time, like the entire damn scene on the ship. Accepting death and then actually dying are two entirely different things. Anyone can accept an oncoming death until they're actually faced with the process of dying itself. He didn't alienate anyone; it wasn't Tennant saying he didn't want to go, but that DOCTOR.
I get the feeling that you will only stop when you have the last word. So I guess it's your call.

The Tenth Doctor was dark and rebellious to his own laws in WoM because he got the mistaken impression that he even could ignore those laws, due to being the "Timelord Victorious." His despondency, if you remember correctly, came immediately after he realized that those laws were absolute, and when he was visited by Ood Sigma. From then on, he realized that he had screwed up and was on his way out. To say that WoM was pointless, and that he was developed poorly, shows poor insight.
