  • I was not scammed as a client. I was scammed as a potential "consultant." In a few short words, I would rather spend the night in bed with Dracula than be involved with Burgess or IPA. I have never run across such an unethical, unprincipled and utterly amoral operation in my life. I showed up for a one week training session and made up my mind to leave by noon of the first day. Don't take my word for it. I could tell you the horror story. Just Google IPA and John Burgess. You'll vomit.

  • They are total scammers. We are a small family business. They conned my dad to get in the door and luckily he has 2 smart daughters that felt like something wasn't just right. We literally kicked the guy from GPS out of our store. Then a few hours later, his supervisor called to see if he could save face. He was going by SMS. What is wrong with these people??

  • Business owners beware. I spent $4,557.00 to get a report that regurgitated everything I told them that morning. No problem solving at all! They were going by SMS and Global Resources LLC out of Northbrook IL. Did a post-mortum to find out I had been scammed by a guy that was dis-barred and proscuted for soliciting any under-aged prostitute.

  • @joecvimedical curious what state you are in and if it was the same guy...

  • @SHacky1229 IPA IBA (SMS, ABS, Global Resources LLC, and every other one of their sly aliases) have extortionists working in every state ready to scam money from unwitting and intimidated small business owners. The only reason why they still operate is because of their equally savvy attorneys and all the contributions they make to Democratic officials in the state of Illinois.

  • Notice how all the new acronym aliases they use i.e. GPS, ABS, SMS have other significant representations. So when a prospect(soon to be victim) does a search online, they will have difficulty finding information on the firm. The fact of the matter is that they are an extortion-racket of con men that has done nothing, but extort money from from small businesses while being lead by a disbarred attorney who is a convicted felon.

  • IPA IBA ABS AND GPS are all the same bunch of shit bags. They call my business all the time. I am extremely rude to them, they still call. lol

  • Check out exipa.com .... good follow up there.

  • If you need help with your business, please get a referral to a legitmate consulting firm from your CPA or lawyer. You should be very suspicious of any cold calling "business consultants". The general consensus is that these guys all seem to offer the same thing: generic reports that are next to useless and a huge invoice!

  • I just had a visit from an ABS initial sales rep, presenting a very high pressure sales pitch. I asked him several times what ABS actually "does", a question that he kept brushing off. All he wanted to do was to get me to agree to an "evaluation" which, since the whole spiel smelled fishy, I wouldn't agree to. After twice telling him that I wasn't interested it came close to me having to physically remove him. Stay away from ABS, IPA, GPS, ROI they are all the same scamming company!

  • Warning! IPA changed to ABS. They kept most of their employees. Same office. The son is in charge now, but nothing has changed! They are con men through and through. Walt Master is their smooth talking salesman. Don't believe a word he says. He is lying! Dan Danzig is also involved in the scam.

  • @freebanking actually, their new name is SMS now. I know this because i had a job interview with them 2 weeks ago. After doing my research I declined the job offer. They always change their name to something that can be known as something else to avoid for them to come up on search engines. sms can stand for short message service(texting), gps can stand for global positioning system, abs can stand for anti-lock brakes. The list goes on.... they may be douchebags, but they are crafty.

  • You should check out exipa.com .... lots of info there on International Profit Associates and the related companies (ABS, GPS, ISI, DLB, IBA, etc.)

  • Google HCMM Consulting Scam. Or HCMM IPA Scam.

    Palm meet forehead...D'oh!

  • You need to check your facts.

IPA removed complaints against HCMM on Pissed Consumer.

IPA removed complaints against HCMM on Ripoffreport.

HCMM/IPA removed salary info on careerbliss because it tied HCMM to IPA.

Look at the telemarketing complaints against HCMM-IPA on 800notes dot com.

Robert Popkey from IPA is running HCMM with other IPA employees.

You want the truth? Search on complaintsboard for HCMM IPA. Tons of proof with links to back it up!

  • HCMM is a company on its own and has nothing to do with IPA. HCMM is a great company with legitimate company practices.

  • IPA did change their name to ABS and also GPS. Three different names, all the same company. I work for an actual business consulting company called Hunting Copper Moody Maguire, and it's so hard to try to offer someone an honest service (something that could actually help business) when so many people have been burned by IPA. There's also a Sexual harassment lawsuit against them as well.

  • IPA has changed there name to ABS, They are using both name to conduct business. I trained there for 3 1/2 days and got scammed!

  • I was there during the first week of January, and the name was still IPA. Are you sure about the ABS? I can find no reference of it anywhere.

  • I just started "training" IPA and cutting out after the first day. I thought something was rotten when questions were fluffed off and what they told us at the training did not match with what we were promised on the phone. I am not surprised that the law is after them.

  • I too trained there for 3 1/2 days! What they do is not right! they are IPA, but have changed there name to ABS ( because of all there problems!) using different addresses.. conducting the same business with both names! INTERESTING! They think they are so smart.......

  • @xWiggy49 How were you scammed?

  • @kgkphd What was promised and not delivered? How were you scammed?

  • i think john is a genius

  • And I bet you work "under" him? But you are right, he is a genius to pull as many scams on innocent clients the way he does without conscience. Hopefully the feds will take him down.

  • @rhaye27 most super criminals are

  • i know this is true for a fact, i worked here
