  • I like this version too! This song is so versatile and very popular. Almost everyone has recorded a version of this song. It's Laos' contribution to music.

  • everyone gotta do there own research .. to understand where and how and who where we come from

  • Khmer, Laos, and Thai are the same family you can tell by their similarity with the language, culture, and religion as well as music. We should not hate one another.

  • @issarak sorry bro you wrong on this one we are not the same ppl .. laos , khmer, thai not in the same root .. and i kid you not on this one .. if you date back the family tree khon lao we are not in the same family trees

  • @issarak

the wolrd need you to tell it again and again. love can unite. and music can help.

  • Does anyone have the lyrics for this??

I know they play with the video, but does anyone have them all typed out?

  • what does saravanh mean?

  • @highcloudman Saravanh is one of the Lao southern province. It is the singing or we called Lum n their tradition dance originated from them people in Sarananh. Love lum Saravanh myself. My brother in law is from Saravanh n his last name is Saravanh .

  • @highcloudman Savannakhét and Saravanh is the champa Provinces of Laos

  • @highcloudman

saravanh mean harmony, peace, together as one.

  • Do you by chance have like a download link for this??

  • See this is real Lao Original music. I hate it when I see Farang people like ULUVUS trying to sing in Lao with their western music. They are Farangs who would not be famous if they sang in English. They would just be a typical punk band. I love to see it when Farangs go learn the real Lao culture and tradition. Please inform the younger generations to know the original Lao music. Thank you.

  • Isn't it Khap (and not lam)?

  • To my knowledge i think its call Lum or lam Sarvane, lum pootai. Khub Tume Laung Prabang, Khub Nguem.

  • No, it is not a Krup tum. It is a Lum Salavanh originated in the Southern Province in Laos called Salavanh. There are a variety of Lum classifications categorized according to the lyric and characteristic rhythmic pattens. They are Lum Tangvay, Mahaxai, Salavanh, BanXork, Phutai, Phuan, Kruptum Luang Prabang, KrupNgeum, Krup Xink, Sipandone, Khonesavanh, LumLuang and LumKonh. It is amazing, isn't. I am delightful that you love MorLum. It is very culturally unique.

  • can someone write her name in english so i can find her cd. PLeassssseeee....

  • I think her name is Rassamy Phoudindong. I guess that how i would spell it in English.

  • @Fon41Tern her name is....... Latsamy Phoudindong

  • (Koam) Madam = Mulam (Mulao). The Chinese write a lot about them.

  • Thanks for remind me thinking of my great hero, Ong Keaw and Ong Kommadan. Pretty beautiful song. My heart beat and dance!!

  • I met her in person several years ago at Lao New Year party in Orlando. She's really beautiful in person and she sings really well too.

  • The Lao are the Molam. They write their history in Lam. It is said these people like to live on high lands. They fled out from the hands of low land people to preserve their songs and their identity. Now, we are in the age of internet, and we know their songs from their highlands. These traditional songs may lose their original form when these songs are sung by low land people, because the low land people are more 'modern' because of their Western instruments.

  • All of Ms. Latsamy's mor lums are so elegant. She lums so well. Will you be coming to tour USA? I will fly to see your performance. Long-lived Lao people. Please post more latest video. I love your mor lum so much and also I love your sweet voice.

  • <333333 O.O!!!!!!

  • Sa bai dee pee nong. If we don't preserve our culture our new generation will be lost and will become hybrid lao american. Mixture of lao and western influences. Please teach them when they are young. thank you

  • love the loas people. hope they love khmer to.

  • In Laos history Laos and Khmer never even get into argument. My little bro married to a beautiful Khmer lady.

  • Laos n Khmer go well together so long in history! Long live Laos n Khmer!

  • that is true, so far i haven't seen anything in history that showed khmer and laos fighting.
