I don't mind that they changed because the music is still kind of good. But, I can say that I liked some bands for a certain style they played and as soon as they became pop, they changed it for the general masses. Green Day, No Doubt, Metallica, etc. I can understand why some people would be turned off of AFI's new stuff because it's not what they're used to. I think it's still decent music. DECEMBERUNDERGROUND is not nearly as good as the previous albums. I prefer the old stuff.

His hair looks like his VPOY days (though his eyebrows look slightly more tamed, just a smidgen.) Though I doubt they'd return to that sound now, I can't really see a return here with all the new fans they've picked up and with the major label, however, you never know with AFI.

Personally, I think it'll be sophisticated album based on evolution and in terms of what I've heard. Not a Sing the Sorrow Pt. II, but it's possible (and I hope) that it'll be something along those lines.

Davey is not gay. The lyrics of LLW are supposed to represent two different points of view: Davey's and the mysterious girl. In the studio version of LLW, Davey says "he bit my lip" on the first and last choruses, because those are told from the girl's perspective. The middle chorus says "she bit my lip" because it's from Davey's side. Quit making assumptions about one's personal life when you are clearly not knowledgeable enough to do so.

Love Like Winter isn't rock, lol. It's a synth pop song. It was changed and arranged for AFI in the early stages, so it's not that they decided at the last moment it would go for AFI. Alas, I'm glad it was on DU, as DU couldn't worse, and thank god it wasn't on CexCells, as it's perfect
