@NM2255 I also think I'd rather have the Ferrari 250 GTO in my garage, rather this SC Atlantic! By far! And @Gamerfan232949 > Actually, the price I said is "obscure", some sources say it's 38 million $ for this car haha! One thing for certain, the price was between 30 and 40 million! :P
@NM2255 The GT0 is more common, this also has a more powerful engine and is only really worth this much because it is so story backed. since 1938 it was basically lost in a warehouse somewhere in Italy and was maintained weekly by some guy for some other guy who died and said guy didn't know, so said car that was maintained for 70 year upwards and looked pretty in a photo but this isn't said car its just that said car was so well story driven. oh and said car was crushed because of no insurance
that spine running down the middle of the car looks like they have taken 2 pressed panels, welded them together and forgot to cut the excess metal off :\
@BiirdOfDeath Merci beaucoup!
@Dkhan23 Sure, $30 million can get you nice stuff. But think about it, if you can put $30 million on a single car, chances are you pretty much already have / own all the rest. So all this "way better stuff" you talk about? Chances are the owner already has it. Twice! As for me, if I was insanely rich, I think I'd go for it, just for the sake of owning a rare piece of automotive history!! The problem would be to find a seller :)
Absolutely stunning, but it is my modest opinion the 57 SC Gangloff Drophead version is even more beautiful and, perhaps, the most beautiful car ever made. Awesome video, man, thank you!
@MJJSmoothCriminal I somewhat agree with you. But it's not much different than buying a Picasso painting, after all. The amount of money involved is just astronomical. Art (and this car is art) has always been a very safe haven for investors! And to reply to @PaperWeight231, Jay Leno actually owns a replica of the 57SC Atlantic! :)
@alexsmolik I thought that only 2 were left (one in a museum and one belongs to Raulph Lauren) And that Jay Leno owns a replica with SOME of the original parts...?
@ExoticsofGermany Thanks man, I'm glad you liked the video, and above all, the car! Like I said in the previous comment (but in french), I tried to take my time (which explains why this video is +4 minutes long), and look around at all the details that make this car what it is. A beauty, an icon! :)
@Vins00n Merci !

This car is simply way way overpriced! Is that because of history? You can buy 6 to 10 WWII veteran P-51 mustangs for the price of this vehicle.
