  • It would be very difficult for a nation-state like the United States to have a press that was totally and completely unbiased. All issues of the New York Times, for example, would have to be reviewed by a panel of value free experts on each and every topic. If we think that the U.S. does not have a "free press" we have to think about the wide distribution of Chomsky's many books, most of which are widely available. Check out his Cartesian Linguistics (1966). Compare Peirce's semiotic Pragmatism.

  • Oepke60

Actually you are wrong regarding the availability of Noam's books, they were actually effectively banned years ago when publishers rejected any interest in them that had nothing to do with profitability

  • Chomsky is a sworn anarchist(probably syndicalist) and is therefore principally against leaders and authority in general.

  • DLovett,

Noam is against "illegitimate" authority, which is most to him.

  • Exactly why I vote for less tax and therefore less Liberal social engineering, which, by the way, the Europeans fell into.

  • @Entropy56 Europe is a much nicer place than the US, which is sliding more and more into the third world thanks to the parasitic practices of business scum.

  • @MrMarxwasright USA might have "the parasitic practices of business scums" but we in Europe have all the parasites...

  • chomsky, what a hero.

  • it sucks that most amerikkkans don't even know this guy exists much less make him prez

  • This is the best way to sum up how the world works.
