For all of you with the AXODE automatic transmission just forget about putting any power to it. It will not handle it because there crappy transmissions from the factory.

sweet ride man!.. hey i have a 93 mercury sable gs 3.0. when i just gas it when i back it out of the driveway the car sshoots! lol. I bouht the car for $350 with nothing wrong except a cracked winshied and 196k miles on it. im gonna put some Zmax or engine restoreer in it along with shell gas to clean out all the garbage. i also took the plenium and the valve covers off and cleaned them out and painted the valve covers. i got new gaskets too. i also purchased a 3a racing exhaust. hopefully .....

hopefully it keeps that ford/mercury muscle car genre kind of sound. its probbly gonna sound like a magnaflow =]. but i also plan on putting a cold air in it to get better emissions and fuel mileage along with alittle better performance. also if the EGF gasket came off i need to replace it right. because the engine is running really hard {almost like a rotarty engine} and i think its because without the gasket its not getting good suction from the EGF. please help!!=]

I'm pretty sure that it's a wagon too, look at the roof rack. The sedans didn't have those.

Needless to say this is a sleeper from hell.

R u that sable owner? Iv got 1994 mercury sable, i want ask u hawe 2 get more speed then 85 miles p hour? like u know a maximal is 85 miles, but in taxometer to get me a 85 i using a 2.400rpm, but maximum is about 7.00rpm if i remeber right.

I miss my 88 Sable LS. Then again I do have a 69 Charger, a 56 Bel Aire, a 2000 JDM Impreza STi, a 2000 JDM Forester STi, and a 2009 Impreza STi.

Still though, I would do anything to have my first car back. Heck I would do anything to have my second car back which was my faithful 86 Trueno Sprinter.

Now I'm depressed. LOL.

This car is infact a Sable wagon with a SHO 3-Liter. Its a MTX with a M90 Supercharger on it.
