My biggest problem with the film was the fact that stick wasn't in it. Without his mentor Matt Murdock would have been lost. It's one of those movies where the hero goes from nothing to invincible over night just stupid.

The problem with the movie wasnt with Garner or Affleck. Affleck is actually a huge Frank Miller fan. The problem was the script. Frank Miller invested his readers in Elektra and Matt for almost 2 years before she died, which made the story tragic and ballsy. You cant expect the same emotional output the way the story was handled. Not a smart way to do the story.

This movie was pretty cool, sure it does have cheesy acting and Ben Affleck wasn't perfect as Daredevil, but he was okay not great. I also didn't like that the final scene with Kingpin and Daredevil was so short, I wish it was about 10 minutes. But I still love this movie. I just hate that my friend tells me the movie was horrible and Spiderman 3 is better, I deffinetly disagree with that. Spiderman 3 sucked and Daredevil is better than that goofy shit.

Affleck was ok, Gardner was ok, Duncan as Kingpin was good for the most part. The CGI was almost sub-par at times. Affleck couldn't act his way out of a t-shirt. Honestly such a great movie. Vastly underrated. Affleck was perfect for the role and the film was dark gritty and gripping and i believed it to be marvels best until iron man but now i believe it to be 2nd best. this film truly deserved a sequel. its a shame we are getting a reboot without affleck or following the story established here.
