Pretty, but they don't fit together well, the first section has a completely different mood, and while the transition is handled well it's supposed to be an extended version so completely changing the mood of the piece to extend it just doesn't fit.

@AdumbroDeus dont worry ill do better next time. but i didnt change the mood...i just added new drums in and a choir to make it less boring lol. i dont see how that changes the mood...but as iv said i done this years ago now. ill do a pro extended version when im done with uni. thanx for the criticism...it helps :)

@priyahthewhite That isn't what I'm talking about really though. Prior to 0:46 it bear no resemblance, it doesn't sound like an extended theme, it sounds like another piece tacked on. Also, the pause between the violin end and the start of the original main theme should be eliminated, it changes it makes it awkward. Have the violin stay in and follow the vocalist, it'll make the transition (which was cool) work . Also, the repetition at the end is rather pointless and adds nbthing to the piece.

@AdumbroDeus lmfao dude what are you talkin about...all i did is loop what was already there and add sum drums in...your talking about pauses between violin parts and shit and keeping vocalists in.....that had nothing to do with me...if you know so much and are so unhappy with something i did FOUR YEARS AGO....do better cuz yeah this was just an experiment....and one that alot of people seemed to enjoy

All you're doing is looping some parts over and over again. It has the same effect as spreading too little butter over too much bread. You end up starving the listener. I'm not impressed.

@nightowl8936 number 1 :- actually the reason i spent 20 minutes experimenting with this track and getting this result four whole years ago was because listeners like me felt starved of the best part of this track on the original...and so by giving them more of what they wanted, i have no clue as to how you find that starving them.

Number 2 :- of course i looped it...could you really afford a whole symphony at the age of 22?...think about it sir.

Number 3:- if your not impressed then do better

Well Priya (are you Indian? - thats an Indian name) I am glad you are taking the criticism in stride, which probably means you're not Muslim, and won't do a fatwa on me or anything.

1. A whole 20 minutes? Thats hardly any time at all. You need to learn how remixes of songs are actually done, then go back and try again.

2. Your young age of 22 also reveals some of the ineptitude. Most 22 year olds are artistic zeros. I know, I teach them engineering.

number 2...remixes are done in any frame of time...i mentioned the fact that it took 20minutes to make the point of reasurring you that i dont give a damn if your impressed or not because i spent no time on this what so ever and im a much better producer than i was back when i did this four years ago.

number 3....get busy then and prove you can. i wanna hear a better version than this

I followed this series from day one! When it left our local airing station, it was a sad day :( for me until one of my High Def. stations picked it up and started running it. Oh happy days! S.G series just got a tad to out of hand. There seems to be many S.G's popping up. That's one series which lost me. As for Alien Nation, it seemed interesting at first, then like most alien series, they drifted back into the farthest regions of space, soon to be forgotten. Thanks for sharing this track!

@ZeroCGR2 it was on TV in Romania a while ago, as far as I know it was a low budget show yet the special effects weren't bad at all, and it had a story, a lore of it's own, I loved the show, nonetheless the OST is very good too...also love Stargate, both SG1 and Atlantis, thinking about picking them up again, from the beginning...and than SG-Universe, is it still being made btw?, with so many shows canceled lately i wouldn't wonder if that was canceled too...
