  • there was a no camera sighn

  • I spent about half an hour looking at this in awe. My mate leant over and touched the right front. No-one had a go at him. He's a knob head.

  • it says no photgraphy you fuck

  • Geez, did any body else see a crash ???

  • I've been there.... what a wonderful museum

  • why that music

  • @militry1 AUDIOSWAP

  • They should put Kubica's car in a museum than

  • Is this from his Hockenheim accident?

  • Ferking 009 sound system, ARGH!!!!

  • i prefere the upside down 2008 maclearen near the entrence of the musium :)

  • been there!

  • I was there yesterday and at a few other museums around London, was i not supposed to film lmao I just clicked away.

  • got this one as remote controlled model! (=

  • It didn't hit the wall at 207 mph, that was the speed he lost it at... probably crashed at more like 150-160.

  • @Lukeno52 He lost control at 207mph, but slowed down to like 70-80mph before hitting a tire wall which absorbed pretty much the rest. But yeah, point taken, hitting a solid object at 207mph straight on is a 100% chance of dying.

  • @nitrotrigger so he didnt actually have a 207 mph crash

  • @zetor115 no he didnt.

  • @zetor115 He spun at 207 mph but he didn't hit anything at 207 mph if he did he might not be alive...

  • @jraybay uhm kubica canada 2007? was around 200 mph in the wall

  • @GForce429 Actually, Kubica hit the wall at 175 mph MAX

  • @mcbeaulieu noo he was going about 300 km/h thats almost 200 mph

  • @GForce429 I was at the 2006 race, with better engines, and the top speed I saw on the timing board in front of me (I was sitting inside the hairpin) was 287 kph (178 mph). Kubica hit Trulli BEFORE that point the following year. So make your own calculations :P

  • @mcbeaulieu i want a bet that you can crash with over 207MPH and survive because it is possible the car now is that save for avery possible crash in the f1 after 2003 because of the HANS-system

  • @GForce429 youre talking shit and you know you are, its EXTREMELY unlikely that you will survive a head-on crash at 70mph so your estimate of surviving anything at 207mph is ridiculous, the HANS device is simply there to support your neck in the event of a crash to reduce the risk of neck injury and acts like a tether.

  • @xelvemagicx i learned something and its the way how you crash we are both a bit wrong in what we're saying if you crash right-in a wall with 207Mph youre death because the energy in the crash cant go anywhere if you crash like kubica you can survive because the car is still driving so the energy was going a way thats why he didnt brake his neck

maybe you ment something like this before but i didnt understand because my english is not that good;)

  • @GForce429 were not both a bit wrong, you are I was saying something about what you said not about generalising crashes

  • @GForce429 uhm Kubica with the most modern safety and a hans device? Mika wasn't wearing a hans device here, they weren't mandatory until 2003.

  • kubica last 2 crashes have been 100% chance of dying but he hasnt.... i think short of an act of god it's actually impossible to die in f1 nowadays

  • who the fuck is anyone to say you cant take a picture of something. im glad you made this video just to spite those COCK SUCKERS.

  • been there but now at the entrance they have a lewis hamilton one on the wall th 2007 or 2008 car

  • epic fail

  • what a gokart;)

  • I saw that at the science museum, its really well intact for something that crashed at 200 mph

  • Comment removed

  • @Tigertwixy Thumbs down, because i didn´t and don´t care

  • this is at the science museum London

  • ive been there, its impressive how good it looks .

  • FUCK 009 Sound System. Every single melody sounds the same!!

One of the most hated artists on YouTube after Justin Bieber.

  • Who actually cares how fast he was going when he crashed?? It's just saying how safe f1 cars are and how they are the most safest

  • Whats this fucker ?

he didn`t crash at 207 mph....he maybe lost it @ 207 mph...but for sure the crash was at lover speed.

So don`t fucking disinform the nation with the tv and the pc ,I fucking break your neck. You fucking got that ?

  • @ValoSam Calm down, jeez.

  • @ValoSam

Looks like someone had a bad day.

  • @ValoSam O dear, you are a real tough guy! Are you sure the maker of this video isn't ten times bigger and stronger than you? And have you found out already where he lives?

  • @ValoSam oh dear

  • @ValoSam over reaction much :')

  • ive been past this in the science museum like twice lol

  • :D When I was in London I visited the same museum. Took a picture even it wasn't allowed ;)

  • haha fucking joke because they are not telling that the actual crash was about 60-80kmh..

  • It was more like 190mph, not 207mph

  • dont look like 207 mph

  • 231 mph is the fastest speed ever recorded at Monza. I forget who drove the car.

  • @Rickat1964 montoya in 2005 testing

  • who would dislike it?

  • Comment removed

  • Why no photos??? Ridiculous

  • very gd video thx 4 uploading

  • crashed in museum, yes? lol

  • the car looks amazingly intact for crashing at more than 200 mph oO

  • fortunately i seen this, i went on a trip to the science musuem in london !!

  • This is in the London Science Museum isn't it?

and i swear F1 cars are Geared to not go over 180MPH or 190MPH....

  • @BKsMassive i do believe they could hit 230 miles an hour if geared right.

  • @joper88

yes of course. but they never get a chance to get that high. so they are geared for 180MPH.

    so they get more acceleration.

  • F1 top speeds even on just tracks go 350 kmh

even in suzuka and fuji easily

ive seen a video of a formula 1 car without the wing and aerodynamic set upp'd for top speed it did more than a bugatti veyron supersport's top speed in 3x faster

  • @carGT222 I'm sorry but that's something you made up, without a rear wing there wouldn't be enough downforce to hold the car to the floor.

  • @pgmproject Sorry you drive a Honda civic

    jk

    Type f1 top speed

  • @pgmproject Actually it isn't.. the car in question was a BAR Honda, run at Bonneville... no rear wing... instead they used a big dorsal fin on the rear deck. Because high downforce slows a car... they wanted minimal. Look it up!

  • @BKsMassive how can they possible hit 340k(212m) on Monza?

  • @thomson765

easily,. kimi raikkonen has the record of 370km/h at monza = )

  • didn't really impact anything head on at 207mph, it was a glancing blow of the straight after the tyre blew, still a testament to F1 safety.

  • shure doesnt look like it crashed at 207mph... thumbs up if you agree!!!

  • What is the music from

  • Well it's clearly a Camera on the sign, and this is a video... So obviously photos are not allowed but videos are.. :P haha

  • @IanBply1 read the note, "this car has been reconstructed using the parts damaged in the race"

  • Pump that tires on.

  • boring

  • i have seen this

  • safe? everything is safe if you dont hit anything-stupid display

  • @rexcars27 this is a wank comment and youre a tit.

  • safe my ass,a tire to the head will kill, nothing stopping a lose tire or debris from stiking the drivers head,at least stock cars are enclosed.

  • the modern F1 car has extremely effective tethers to stop the tyres falling off, and speaking of how "safe" NASCAR is, does the name Dale Earndhart mean anything to you?

  • @thewyseguy thats why stock cars are slow as shit

  • @thewyseguy yeah but these day's the drivers head is alot more covered from impact and shaking. infact the most likely way of getting some debris hitting your head is trough the visor. sure in a stock car the driver is more covered, but if they would be crashing at the same speeds (which they really can not reach) as f1, there'd be barely anything intact from the car. as oposed to an f1, where the driver is sitting, basicly in a near indestructable monocoque.

  • i went there and senn it for myself, hahaha to anyone who hasnt been to the science museum you havent seen it mwhaha

  • wow really amazing crashing at that speed and the car is no THAT damaged impresive

  • he didnt hit the wall at 207mph you retard. impact speed in the end was about 80.

  • Is this an Exhibition, or is it still there?

  • Just in case you're actually being serious: no, he didn't die. He's alive and well.

  • ye i'm serious....but 207 Mph? that's crazy

  • i see it in the science museum too :)

  • omg why are you not aloud to take photo's lol oh well i did when i went there ...

  • Is it still there or did they remove it? I went to the London science museum this summer but couldn't see it all because of time :(

  • No it's not there any more :(

  • not true ! i seen it yesterday

  • Oh. I didn't see it when i went in the summer :(

  • it is still there I went last month

  • Great Car !!

  • cool :D

  • Bahaha I love the no cameras sign.

  • ... old times... <:D

  • Mika Hakkinen's Mercedes F1 car after crashing at 207mph, at the London Science Museum. I did not know you could even drive a car in the Science Museum, let alone get up enough speed to crash. ;-)

  • lol. The world famous science museum grand prix!

  • lol

  • mika is hero

  • I saw this too in London.. And also ignored that no cameras sign lol

  • hahaha no camera's and he films it anyway rofl

  • Was that in the Science Museum?

  • looks like a crash by 70 mph

  • Indeed. The wheel exploded at 207mph but the impact speed against the tyrewall was about 50mph.

  • Sure dont look like it Crashed at that speed

  • 0:18 cleary says no photos...

    and yet he films!!!

  • No photo, so what does he do. He films.. lol nice.

  • I was in Louvre with my school, we were told not to bring ANY cameras. We then spotted our teachers photographing everything inside - they were the ones telling us :E

  • relevance.... look it up

  • aff qual a graca de ver um carro arrebentado, afff

  • nicked it off London's science museum, lucky you were not caught.

  • do not photograph. havent you seen the sign?

  • 'photo'

not anywhere do I see you cannot record...

  • lol it said DO NOT PHOTOGRAPH but it didnt day DO NOT VIDEOTAPE! am i right??? HA HA HA

  • I was there ...

  • me too :)

  • kubica's car was better

  • I saw that happen right in front of me :(

  • he wasnt going 207 when he spun he was going 190. also after spinning several times and traveling through a grevel trap all the speed had been lost so when he hit the barrier he wasnt travelling fast.

in my opinion hamiltons crash at the nurburgring in 2007 was worse, well it was.

  • Yes, the modern F1 car is virtually indestructible. This negates the risk factor of course. Add to this automated transmission etc etc and it's easy to see why today's drivers are lesser mortals than their predessors. It still takes a lot of skill though. I couldn't do it.

  • Ive been to that place to see that car

At 0:05 you can see a no cameras sign lol

  • i remember that crash.

  • MIKA THE BEST EVER

  • this is in the science museum in london............apart from the earth quack machine this is the only good bit

  • i lyk the sign on the botton saying (No cameras) =P

  • think it means no flash photography yeah ?

  • probably.... amazing though....

  • he had a tyre damage on left rear tyre at Hockenheim 1999, ok he was sliding with 207 mph, but he wasn't hitting the tyre wall with 207, but with 60 mph

  • Doesn't look like a 207 mph crash but on the red panel thing it did say something about it being extremely strong and built with parts in the crash. Something like that.

  • I'v been there ! :P

  • me too :)

  • the car looks like 50mph crash. :(

  • I remember seeing this years ago, when I was around 9 years old, at a school trip.

  • whats the deal with the 'no photos' sign? Is this crashed car supposed to secret?

  • No. Its so it does not bother other visitors. Imagine flashes going off every couple of seconds in that dark room.

  • wow

  • Ah this is in south kensington in london, loads of interesting things there and i remember seeing this too =-)

  • lol the no photography sign

  • The Science Museum in London, I guess. Anyway, I've seen this in real life there and it says no recording.

  • pshhh i could total that bitch in the pits

  • I've MOT'd worse.

  • they didn't fix it yet?!

  • haha, as you saw the no-photographing-sign and quick hid the camera (:

  • It Doesn't look very damaged to me at the front of the car, he has just got a broken front wing & a blown tyre in the video, I'm sure you'd expect more damage than that smashing into the bariers!

  • he made a spin on a straight and lost al his speed spinning around for a couple of hundred metres before gently planting the car in the tire barriers :). Bad example of f1 safety

  • His tyre blew which is why he spun round suddenly. Not driver error.

  • I didn't say it was driver error, I was watching that very race. All i meant was that it was no heavy-impact crash.

  • His tire blew at 207mph, he didn't crash at anything like that speed.

  • i mean asking not saying. i sound like i was involved.

  • was their a security guard at the very end saying "hello"?

  • Fake....en el accidente el coche desacelera muchísimo antes de chocar contra los neumáticos, si se hubiese estampado contra un muro como kubica no quedarían ni los restos.

    McLaren mentirosos y tramposos.

    Felipe Massa campeon!!!

  • lol at 0:05 you go past a 'no photo' sign :P

  • i did dat wiv a nail gun

  • thats at donnington museum uk i had a photo of me there when i was 9! I go to donnington regularly and f1 is at Donnington in 2010!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i have a video of this car too. does anyone know a link to any video with this crash in 1999?

  • i love that car,its a waste to be there

  • lol, funny that in this video, there's sign that says "no cameras":D

  • as in no flash photography

  • si el accidente fuese a 300 km/h te aseguro que el coche no queda asi..., solo el aleron descolgado, la rueda pinchada, se destroza..

  • No cameras. I didn't do even a photo :D

  • This was at the science musium in london

  • very little damage for 207mph

did he just spin around a few times?

then maybe hit the wall at 30mph?

no way was there any big impact, theres hardly any damage

  • /watch?v=QkPdXMHBNC4

  • scary

lucky he didnt hit the side wall first :p

  • There reads: Many of the components of formula 1 cars are replaced throughout the season, and this car has been reconstructed using the parts damaged in the race.

  • Yeah... it happened in 1999 in Hockenheim, Mika crashed while he was leading the race.

  • i love the filming of the no-camera sign. great!
