  • learn all chords and scales for lap steel guitar finally revealed available on the kindle, iPad, iPhone from Amazon

    from ilapsteel com

  • awesome playing very nice just a personal thing id rather a bit less delay, and maybe a slap back delay instead of the longer one? just sounds a bit too hair metal solo to me for what you are playing, which i reckon would almost sound nicer solely acoustic.

  • Magic! :-)

  • Hey Man,

What Guage strings are using for your C tuning ? Also be interested your thoughts on guage strings for a born for Open E tuning?

  • Lovely playing - I'm also thinking about getting a Superior weiss with a spruce top - would you recommend them despite the low action?

  • Hey man, whats the name of the song you are playing in this?

  • That was just beautiful. Nice job and great tone

  • Absolute Heaven. Thank you, Glen.

  • That's flat out nasty. Thumbs up!!!

  • Beautiful! What a great sounding instrument. Nice touch and intonation, smitty, very well done. 5 stars from me.

  • One of the best Weissenborn slide tunes yet to hear, Great job my friend and excellent recording.

    Brian

  • I already had listen to that tunes but I can't remember the name of that song. Could you remeber it to me ?

    Thanks a lot

  • very cool! what kind of weiss are you playing? thanx for posting. you're very good.

  • Absolutely great!

  • bro for real, hook up some more weisenborn vids. your killer. there arent all that many great lapstyle players on you tube unfortunately. well compared to guitar anyway. i really learn a lot from watching you guys. keep em coming please.

  • nice playing, but it doesn't look or sound like a Weissenborn- who is the maker? Once again, great playing.

  • Just love your tone. Is that youre tune. Also what camera are you using and was it recorded with the internal camera. I am looking for that quality?

    Great playing.

  • Thanks. yes, that's my tune. The camera is an old (10yrs) Sony 8mm; handycam i think.

  • At 00:17 the dog leaves the room, probably too tired of listening to the man practicing the same tune over and over, hehehee..

    Nice playing, keep on slidin'!

  • NICE!!! really nice sound.

  • DADADE isnt it?

  • CGCEGC

  • bring me more slide music

  • super tasty!!!

  • Love this one, and I love your strat videos too! very nice tone and awesome playing!

  • thanks

  • Hey Bro, what tuning are you using?

  • c 151351 low to hi

  • umm.. I only have a 6 string guitar. From the nut, what would my strings be tuned? My bases of reference is 440 standard E A D G B E

    thanks, BLT

  • yep, mine's a 6 string also; open c would be CGCEGC, top to bottom, or 151351, the position of each note in a c (or any) scale. For d tuning use DADF#AD, so tune your top string (low e) down to D, leave A and D alone, G string down to F#, B down to A, and high E down to D. Same combination as C; hope this helps.

  • thanks for explaining the c151351. You need to be patient with us new at the alt tunings... Keep up the good tunes...Bone Lee

  • I really love it. You play it like Ben Harper. I would like to bye one but it's hard to find in France. Is it difficult to learn it ?

  • This is SOOOoooo cool. I listened over and over.

  • smitty, can you play david lindley songs, rag bag or so?

  • don't know....i never tried..although influenced by many folks i rarely have the patience to learn something note for note.

  • Nice vibrato, man. What make is your 'born?

  • Thanks. It's a Superior from Berkley Music (berkeleymusic.com), spruce top, mahogany back and sides. It's a decent guitar but the action is a bit low for my taste; you can hear me banging the fretboard several times in the video.

  • Really nice!

I love slide sound so thanks for this music.

  • Thanks!

  • amazing !

  • gimme more man. I love it!

  • Thanks!!!
