I also gained a ton of respect for the Typhoon and Syclone back then... 0-60 times in 4.3 seconds range - with AWD - was really tough to beat! I owned a lightly modded '87 GT in the era and got my ass handed to me by all 3 vehicles on a regular basis!

I find it amazing how well that vehicle is built. Numbers are one thing, but the C6 and ZR1 are still almost the same speed. Obviously ZR1's are faster, but good god, the C6 is faster than any car I've ever owned. And not much slower than the ZR1.

@danny7930 ZR1 uses a different suspension, carbon ceramic brakes, twin disc clutch, beefier trans with different ratios, and forged wheels. The Z06 Ultimate Performance package is the same car more or less with a different engine. Same wheels, brakes, suspension, and some of the carbon pieces.
