  • duuuuuude thats soooooo interesting.... now gimmie the 3 minutes of my life u just wasted back

  • @godpker28 ...change of pace for you huh. Now go back to wasting the rest of your life on runescape...LOL!

  • its a nice hawk for the money but the sheath is total garbage

  • Amazon has great deals.

  • wer do u buy tomahawks?

  • @TheKylecool101 ...wow...this video was from almost (2) years ago. I believe I got this from lapolicegear. I seen this SOG fusion tomahawk on Botach Tactical for $39.95

  • @HELLZZARMY oh ill keep that in mind

  • you need to be doing some number one and number two strikes with that tommy! I had mine for a couple years now, you can shave with it right out of the box. I cut up an Elk last year, no problem cutting people up either, (if needed) and still sharp, it keeps going, and going, and going...

  • aww man I wanted some specs, some typical hellzzarmy humor, and some stuff getting tomahawked.

  • I wonder if you can get a kydex sheath for it, do you know of any site that would sell or make on?

  • Howzit JT. You ever took that thing camping? How'd it do?

  • Black Ops Anyone?

  • Thanks for the clip. Bawbags, the music isn't Irish but Scots - Hawkeye was meant to be of mixed Scots Irish roots. The composers for the soundtrack credited this track as based on 'The Gael' by Dougie MacLean a singer songwriter from near Dunkeld, Perthshire, Scotland.

  • black ops lol

  • @TheJoseph12ification Thats not the tomahawk from black ops

  • Well that just wasted my time in what I thought was a review. And what's with the Irish music for a native American style weapon?

  • Nice luscious green grass.

  • Omg i saw this video and it reminded me so much of Call of Duty Black OPs that i just had to write this comment !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • its kinda funny how people call weapon enthusiasts wierdos because we like weapons, but as soon as they appear in videogames, everyone becomes an expert. people used to think i was creepy for carrying a karambit knife, but since black ops, everyone wants to buy mine off me. i throw knives and was seen as a kid who might shoot up the school, but since modern warfare 2, everybody wants me to teach them how to throw. your a bunch of fuckin bandwagoners.

  • Ok guys this IS the tomahawk in black ops, sog is now a weapons manufacturing company for the military, therefore call of duty decided to put in sog weapons in call of duty possibly to advetise their products lol

  • You never know when you might want to reach out and touch somebody.

  • just by chance ive been listening to this song lately after just finding it and i just randomly clicked in thus video and here it is again

  • ur obsessed with the punisher lol

  • @L3PK11 but dude nice tomahawk kinda like the one going to be in BLACK OPS!!

oh and dude u shud rly throw that thing

im sure alot of people would love to see that thing in some real good air action!!

  • this looks like the axe that was in Medal of Honor Tier 1

  • any experience with cs vietnam tactical axe? if so which do you like better?

  • @LiveLoudCustoms ...Nope...no experience with the "cs vietnam tactical axe."

  • Whats the name of the song?

  • @Pyromaniac1801 ...its from the movie..."Last of the Mohicans" by... Trevor Jones and Randy Edelman

  • @HELLZZARMY thats my favorite movie

  • @Pyromaniac1801 haha thanks man, nice video btw

  • got the same one... i throw it tho

  • throw it please

  • @oOAxleOo ...not my thing. check out my buddy Micah Posada (throwing Champion/Cold Steel sponsored) at "tomahawktree."

  • I Just ordered a Cold Steel Trench Hawk, Its a pretty sick hawk.

  • liking the last of the mohicans music

  • we used these when I went to Iraq, fucking awesome

  • Last of the Mohicans :)

  • nice axe but I wish that sog [along with other knife manufacturers] would start making kaidex [sp anyone?} sheaths for there shit. I hate having to undo buttons. I just want it held in there with friction retention and whiped out when needed ><. Anyone else agree with me?

  • Ur grass is verry green... oh cool axe to. lol

  • @59LOWLIFE ..thanks.

  • @59LOWLIFE holy shit dude! his grass IS really green!!!

  • like the music

  • Got this bad boy for $30. How's its durability? In the right hands, how would it fare against a hungry bruin? Lol

  • There is just something about a tomahawk that is just so great. I cant even describe what it is about them.

  • they need these in mw2

  • how well does the edge hold up since its 420 stainless?

  • @chevygearhead454 ...honestly haven't had the need to use it. Not something I EDC...it my understanding 420 stainless steel is cutlery grade so it should hold an edge well.

But, in this configuration it's more deadly...

  • @chevygearhead454 it holds up fairly well, but i still recommend sharpening it after every other use if you want to maintain the great edge

  • dude just as hellz army productions came up .... and with the start of that song it sounded deadly... i think you should do that all the time, well not play the full tune but just the start with the hellzarmy productions logo

  • not bad, it should be a bit larger

  • Loving the music from "Last of the Mohicans"

    ~Slainte

    Rob

  • any thoughts on the ontario rd hawk. i really wanted 2 get one

  • @hulkbuster1026 ...sorry haven't seen or handle an Ontario Redhawk.

  • id appreciate it if u could tell me what song that is

  • @hulkbuster1026 ...its from the movie..."Last of the Mohicans" by... Trevor Jones and Randy Edelman.

  • I just got mine the other day. just started to decorate it and i just love it! BTW this thing will RIP right out of the sheath without unsnapping the snaps beforehand when the sheath is attatched to gear and you need it in a pinch

  • @CmdrALF Hey, just wondering, does it wear down the snaps as you rip it out like that? Also what kind of attachment does the sheath have?

  • yo i just bought the SOGfari machette (18") i was wondering to u have one and my i cant grip that well

  • @treasureman256 ...no don't have one...

  • I wanna have one of these when the sociatel meltdown finally happens.

  • hows the throwing, better than many other hawks?

  • @gh4pwner ...haven't tried throwing it...if you like that sort of thing check-out tomahawktree...my buddy Micah Posada is a CHAMPION thrower and the only person I know sponsored by Cold Steel.

He throws knives, hawks, and basically any edge weapon...

  • Very Appropriate music...

  • How's the grip on it?

  • Firm and even more secure with my lanyard...

  • is that you John Wayne?

  • I have this and a few other SOG implements, fantastic stuff....Great video....

  • thanks...yeah SOG makes cool stuff...

  • Has anyone seen that tomahawk made of a horse's jawbone on some 'versus' show? That thing was beast.

  • @blueprophet9 Yes that tomahawk was on "Deadliest Warrior" used by the Apache. Wonderful weapon, amazing warriors.

  • @blueprophet9 deadliest warrior you mean? yeah the apache horse jaw tomahawk was awesome

  • Is the music from the Last of the Mohicans? Awesome if it is, given the hawk use at the start!

  • 10-4...yes it is...

  • where might i get one of these?? they look fight worthy

  • Just run a search in google, eBay, Amazon...

I got this one from LapoliceGear...I'm sure you could get it from any knife site or from SOG themselves. (see info in side-bar)

  • @MorteWulfe ...10-4.....its from the movie..."Last of the Mohicans" by... Trevor Jones and Randy Edelman.

  • @HELLZZARMY Classy use of it then :)

  • I own one. Yes it is worth it. It outchops any camp axe I have ever had and will put it up against and similar size axe in a chopping contest. besides it looks bad ass!!

  • 10-4 I definitely carrying this in my shop when I retire...

and yes the last part of your sentence is always important...

  • Id be glad to have one of those on my belt during a zombie apocalypse. That would crack and split a skull easy. Of course I mean zombie skull. Subscribed.

  • me too...thanks.

  • Im buyinh 1 today.

    Is it worth it?

  • I think so...but, I don't go camping or do any type of bushcraft. So I haven't put it through any hard use chores...

  • did you chop up those rocks?

  • no...negative...Japanese river rocks just for decoration...

  • lol you have a nice lawn.

  • thanks...

  • That's exactly what I thought! LMAO

  • yea i think this one may be better now...decisions decisions

  • the cold steal is way stronger its the handle really the head of this one is bolted on weakening the wood

  • Where's your proof and/or video???

You already have your facts wrong the Newer SOG tomahawk handle in this video is "fiber-glass re-inforced nylon"...hah!

  • im trynna decide between the cold steel Peter Legana model or this..

    any insights..?

**and yeah yeah, i know it's a cold steal but oh well...

  • sorry...no opinion. Not familiar with that Cold Steel model...

  • Great vid...Great Tomahawk..I just recieved mine...Your vid helped me make up my mind to buy one...Thanx..I am totally happy with it..God Bless you and your Fam!!!!

  • I'm glad i could help...Happy Holidays to you and yours...JT

  • ey m8 wats the song

  • Love the hawk love the music Wanted a good view of the thickness. Ya did that . Thanks. Great vid

  • what.... is.... the.... MUSIC! :O

  • Actually, its from last of the mohicans, a fairly sweet movie.......hence the tomahawk.....

  • Nice looking but how does it perform and how much did it cost? Could it waste more oil drums than a Coldsteel trail hawk. Not starting any shit I genuinely want to know which is better facts not opinions

  • MSRP along with other info in side-bar.

As far as the rest you'll have to check other reviews and/or do your own research...

  • Personally I've thrown mine and buried it 3 inches with multiple blows into wood and I don't see how anyone could complain about the handle it's held up perfectly From what I know I don't think the cold steel has the spike on the end which is also very us-full. You have to wonder how someone could ever break the handle and what they use their tomahawk for to do such damage Personally it's like any tool it has a purpose and when you abuse that purpose and misuse it then you are going to break it

  • i love tomahawks been using one seen i was 12 i got love being native Americans tomahawk fighting FTW

  • Yeah emerson Knives has a nice one...CQC-T...

  • first i wanted a sog fusion, but i got a condor tactical field instead

    check vid reply

hope u can take the blood :D

  • looks cool...got to go back to rate/comment...

blood doesn't bother me ...so long as it's not mine...lol!

  • man.. not something kids would wanna handle

  • Sweet axe mate.

  • what song is tht?

  • It's from the movie Last of the Mohicans...by John Williams...(the Finale).

  • Wrong. The music is by a joint effort duo of Trevor Jones and Randy Edelman. Arguably one of my favorite movies of all time.

  • When you're right ...you're right...

  • :) No worries.

  • some body get one of these and really trash on it, I wanna know if it holds up.

  • yeah i'd like to see that too. i would think that having a nice light hickory handle would be nice too. keep all the weight in the head of the piece so it can do all the work for you, plus wood is easier to replace.

  • I'm actually about to make a video talking about the thrashings I've put it through. I've hacked through wooden doors (Shining style), dug holes and punched through very tough plastic.

  • how much for this awsome thing?

  • MSRP=$62.00...

  • nice music, how mush for the one?

  • can you get replacement handles for it

  • nothing on the SOG site but, looking at it's design you probably could. Say fro American Tomahawk, hardware store, etc...

  • For some reason, this video makes me want to go watch the last of the mohicans. i know that makes no sense, but i need to go watch it.

  • No it makes sense...it's the music. After i made this videi I watched Last of the Mohicans twice...lol!

  • lol you guys are funny, now I wanna go watch it lmao.

  • is it good for throwing, i have one and dont want to break it ( can u get replacement handles)

  • Don't know...haven't tried...check out my buddy Micah Posada @ tomahawktree...he's a Cold Steel sponsored knife, hawk, any knid of blade throwing Champion...

  • is it good for throwing

  • Now all you need is a big knife for the other hand and you will have the fighting hawk set up like in the movie.

  • 10-4...

  • Nice. A tool that speaks for itself. :D

Next step is to go eat the heart of a Red Coat.

  • yup...

  • Dude, i realy wana buy this tomahawk, but im not sure, wether it is that good...

you know, i use my tools and they should be as unbreakable as possible. So spliting wood should be an easy task to this tomahawk!!! Would you ecommend it to me?

  • man...I would recommend it but, I don't do bushcraft, camping, wilderness survival, etc...

It's well made, durable...a good weapon. I'll only use it on anither human being...self-defense, fighting, disposing of a body...lol!

  • ^^ okey

but would you say its robust, or does it easily get loose and shit like this?

    greets

  • robust and solid....Cold Steel makes some good axes and 'hawks.

    so does american tomahawk...

  • Dude, this vid makes me want to put on a kilt, paint my face like William Wallace, and go scalp something!............ANYTHING!

  • glad you're inspired...lol!

  • wts d spng at bginin

  • have you tried throwing this guy yet? i want to pick one up although i was wondering how it would withstand throwing.

  • Sorry dude no...if you want to know about throwing check out my bud Micah at tomahawktree he's the only Cold Steel sponsored Champion knife thrower. He actually can throw any edge weapon...

  • haha cool axe wallet sheath

  • thanks...

  • Is this any good with things other than combat and entry. Say cutting wood and small trees?

or would you recommend another tomahawk and why?

  • I honestly couldn't say how it would perform in the woods or for use in bushcraft.

It's the only tomahawk I own at this time. I can testify it is well-made but, that's all...

  • Cool tool, I used to carry something close to that. Cool background music.

  • thanks...I'm looking at getting the Emerson CQC-T (tomahawk).

  • cool man

  • thanks...

  • lol, great choice for background music.

  • thanks...

  • I made a tatical tomahawk in metalshop last year and got suspended. It was worth it.

  • WOAH that's cool...I'm not a real do-it-your-selfer...do you still have the Tomahawk...post it as a vid.

Plan on getting Emerson's Tactical Tomahawk but, it's a little pricey...J.T.

  • It broke cause it was made of pretty shitty steel. I'll let you know if I make a better one.

  • My dad works in a BIG paper mill (international paper) and he is around plasma arks all the time. He cut out four tomahawks, three tactical ones similar to the RMJ tactical ones and one that would be used by native americans. they are pretty freaking cool. He heat treated them and everything. have you made any more tomahawks your self?

  • Is that music from The Last of the Mohicans?

  • Yup...sure is...loved that movie

  • peace JT.. an aboriginal weapon that's new and improved, looking more tactical than ever.. wouldn't want to be on the other side of that, lord.. ay, thanks for your all your vids, well worth watching.

  • thanks...appreciate you watching and commenting...OSU!!!(KARATE EXPRESSION)

  • Good stuff, I have an american tomahawk company laguana and love that thing. It has so many uses in the field. Are we going to see any throwing vids?

  • thanks...No throwing vids anytime soon got throwing spikes(see video) from Japan and other throwing stuff but, not skilled enough for demos.

Check out my friend Micah Posada @ tomahawktree he's the only Coldsteel sponsored knife thrower that I know of...Tournament Champion...he's got some bad@ss videos on throwing stuff...

  • Thanks, I'll check it out bro.

  • Always wanted a tomahawk as a kid. Now all my wants are just a click away. I love the internet and the lovely weapons it brings. Great sound track to the vid.

    :-)

  • thanks...hopefully I can get an Emerson Tomahawk sometime soon...

  • Aw dude perfect song for the review...great job.

  • thanks...I had to watch Last of the Mohicans on DVD after posting this...OSU!!!(KARATE EXPRESSION)

  • I ahve only heard good thgins from their whole fusion line of products, and I liked the fusion salute folder for the price...

  • this is the only product I've seen from that line except for the hat I got from my friend's gunshop...thanks for the input Jeff...I got to check it out...J.T.

  • my mistake just check the website...my friend's shop has the fulcrum throwing knives I just didn't realize it.

  • that axe will do some hard damage to some ass whole. you got to do a demo on it i kinda want to see how sharp the thing is.

    5*

  • I have been a fan of tomahawks for a long time, prolly cause I grew up in CO.

But that is a pretty nice one, I am sure it is of good quality as well.

Nice music too Mr. Mohican. :D 5*

  • thanks...

  • A zombie's skull stands no chance to that. 5/5

  • lol!

  • i knew its one of the cheaper ones, but 420?

I'd rather have carbon steel 1055 or something then

  • tomahawk's are really sweet, not alot of blade to work with on this model, still looks sick
