  • i really think this is the best version I have heard- a combination of humanity, grace, gentleness, humility

I am sure Bach is smiling

  • Angels. I hear angels.

  • THANK YOU THANK YOU for uploading this entire performance. Though I have many recordings of this, this was my first time to actually see it performed. Thank you also for the 3-part interview with Blomstedt. It truly was a very moving experience for me..Again...danke, merci,grazie......THANKS! BRIAN

  • Just loved the respect of the audience to let the final chord resound in harmony...

Moments like these kinda makes me tear a little bit...

  • @musicnerd225488 I agree. It looks as though Blomstedt even had to release himself slowly from the entire experience as if he was giving thanks to God. I had to chuckle about the row of Japanese folks taking pictures.

  • @redbrian3655 XDXD I didn't noticed it until now!!

  • great, thanks

  • Carries your soul to Heaven. I appreciate the crispness of the parts and the intertwining with the orchestra. Close your eyes and listen to it again. Breathtaking.

  • Thx for sharing it :)
