This mod kicks ass, a bit buggy but so is left 4 dead, also some random shit happens every time you play, sometime annoying sometimes great. the best campaign mod I have played and I can't believe its getting so many bad reviews.

All the other mods that are getting good reviews are either not bad or just completelt shit. If the maker could just improve the ending it would be worthy of being an addon I would pay for, it kicks the mall from left 4 dead 2 by a mile.

Nvidia good for gaming because they can render FPS very well but they have problem. overheat, price ridiculous high, n there's some flaw models on their M series.

But, if you a multi users u can choose ATI. Good in img quality, friendly price, n also their fps rendering tech are not too bad.

I already trying to test both of them(HD4890 vs GTX285)in RE5. The results? ATI only lost just several fps then nvidia with same setting.

right now, unless you want to spend 350$ on a GTX285 Black edition, the NVidea 9600GT is probably the best card under 100$ (depending on were you get it it might be more)

also, ATI cards suck total cock, friends gaming comp with ATI card cant run L4D more than 20FPS.

they get on a boat and that one dude the one the main girl likes kils himself cuz he got bitten and they leave. but at the end of the credits they reach the island and then a whole bunch of zombies come out. i think they all die

If you watch them you see whats happening on the boat... first their food gets rotten, than they find another boat with a "zombie -head" (and shoot it).

In the end their boat is out of gas... They slide on the water till they come to an island by pure coincidence. when they leave the boat "chips"(the dog) runs away; And loads of zombies are running to the last survivors

If you use open GCF by nems tools you can find the FGD which contains all the entity data in a list, all the materials and models can be also set in hammer to a custom directory; How do you think custom modders do it? just reverse the same technique for valves games and you can make maps for anything on the source engine.

Well technically the SDK tools are for the Source engine itself, Left4Dead uses mainly engine based graphical upgrades, animation and AI upgrades so anything made for Source can run in Left4Dead with minor tweaking, scripting and file updating. The one's for left4Dead will make it easier for modders to make content. Such as the adding of Left4Dead tool textures, and game play assets to the Hammer Engine as well as game unique script and trigger commands for the scripts Source uses.

But you can easily use any mapping assets from other games that use .map style map assets but to run you need the internal tool textures and gameplay triggers and assets for that particular game to run. For example you can take an old style format .map from a game in the 90s that was made in Radient and import it as it's raw patch and brush entities. Or take a map made for Call of Duty and bring it in, or any map from hammer, like one for Counter-Strike Source. It just wont reconstruct tools.
