Natural is the less than a billion tonnes emitted by volcanoes, which is absorbed by the oceans and forests. Our emissions are just as natural as the ozone hole, which has proven without a doubt. Since I woke up to sanity and the wonder of nature about a year ago, I've been radically changing my lifestyle: diet, carbon footprint, consumption. It's not at all as hard as imagined it. Life gets healthier, easier, lighter. It's almost like a veil of dumbness falls off when you start taking steps towards being a conscious human. You get clearer just by being environmentally conscious. I don't know how about you, but the most blissful feelings I get on this planet are experiences in nature.

I read that there are ~750 million cars in the world lets put that to 500 million. I read average use was 2.8 gallons per day, Lets say 1 gallon, 500 million gallons per day... That's a big number for 40 ships to beat.
@mattymuck Yes that is a big number -- I highly doubt these cars are in use everyday infact most of them are sitting around -- and if you want to play with numbers and emissions -- A voyage across the atlantic is around 150hr's depending on your speed -- at 1,660 gallons per hour and using a fuel that is WAY worse emission wise than car fuel I think the numbers would even out with all the cars on earth...Yes it's hard to believe but saldy you have been brainwashed.

If we kill off a species vital to another species vital to us we will defend the former, but the latter will be the ultimate reason. Had there not been global warming approximately 10,000 years ago, we wouldn't be having this conversation.
Who knows what good will come from the next natural cycle of the global temperature change? Who's to say the earth was meant to be the home for humans (at a comfortable 72 degrees) for ever? Maybe a warmer planet will bring the evolution of cockroaches with intelligence. (do I think that would really happen? Not necessarily. I just raise the question to illustrate my point.).

Natural is the less than a billion tonnes emitted by volcanoes, which is absorbed by the oceans and forests. Our emissions are just as natural as the ozone hole, which has proven without a doubt. Since I woke up to sanity and the wonder of nature about a year ago, I've been radically changing my lifestyle: diet, carbon footprint, consumption. It's not at all as hard as imagined it. Life gets healthier, easier, lighter. It's almost like a veil of dumbness falls off when you start taking steps towards being a conscious human. You get clearer just by being environmentally conscious. I don't know how about you, but the most blissful feelings I get on this planet are experiences in nature.

I read that there are ~750 million cars in the world lets put that to 500 million. I read average use was 2.8 gallons per day, Lets say 1 gallon, 500 million gallons per day... That's a big number for 40 ships to beat.

@mattymuck Yes that is a big number -- I highly doubt these cars are in use everyday infact most of them are sitting around -- and if you want to play with numbers and emissions -- A voyage across the atlantic is around 150hr's depending on your speed -- at 1,660 gallons per hour and using a fuel that is WAY worse emission wise than car fuel I think the numbers would even out with all the cars on earth...Yes it's hard to believe but saldy you have been brainwashed.
