Another good alternative to spray paint, is the spray tool dip. You can get it at lowes, and it wont flake, and gives a nice texture. :)

you should probably spray paint (the dreads) at least 3 layers or so. Just so that you don't have to spray and spray.

dipping the foam rods in a mix of liquid latex and black paint with prevent cracking and will give more weight, making the dreads neater. i really adore the helmet. tis great :D

if you make another predator helmet sometime, why don't you give it a go at making an undermask with a bio mask rather than a full helmet. i bet it would be great :D

@AVPriceyBLSWAG glad to help out in the tutorials..it is kinda expensive to purchase a predator helmet these days and they are the same..but it;'s good to make ya own out of ya own hands and it's worthwhile..so when ya done show me some pics of ya creation..have a great day..next tutorial i'm working on it..
