I have a video tutorial showing how to convert the videos and put them on. You say you camera is broke? Well then this is not the same model. Games can not be put on to the one I have. Mine doesn't have a camera. Keep searching on youtube, I'm sure you'll find someone with the same model who can help :)

I have a mini mp4 and this cd. I read the manual on how to upgrade the firmware. In the manual it shows a tool and how to upgrade it. I do not know where/how to get the tool, is there aother way I can upgrade my mp4 to play mp4 videos, avi sounds, and even play nes games? Please reply.
I bought one of these touch screen media players off eBay a couple of weeks ago and had problems converting videos. I have an AMD processor in my PC, so the files you linked to did the trick. Now my media player is more than just an MP3 player, it now plays video!!
ok like i have this exact one but 8gb with a camera and i was putting some songs on there ( i already had like 102 songs ) but i put like 6 more and it broke
like it says format error on all my SONGS which are .mp3 and they worked at first for like 5 weeks but now its broke after putting just 6 more normal songs

If you haven't sorted this out yet. Then I suggest taking everything of your mp4 player(copy to pc) format it, then put the songs back on, if they still don't play, then I don't know what is wrong because yours is not the same as mine if it has a camera. Sorry.

You might need to convert the video which you have taken from your mp4 player.
Videos which I extract from my player don't play on my computer unless I convert them again. It's the AVIConverter program which converts videos in the correct format for your player, so when you put them back on the PC, they don't play. Use TotalVideo converter or something and converter them back to .avi or whatever you want.
I have the same mp4 as you with the same processor and on the back of the mp4 box it says it only takes in MTV format, I cant seem to find a free converter for this can you help me?

I just got mine in the mail. On the folders when looking for music, pictures, video, etc. you need to double-click. I don't know what happened with yours, but I just got a bunch of videos on it with no problem. I even used the AVI Converter.
Mine works ok now, I still need to do 3 clicks sometimes but not as much as when it was new.
The reason why I had problems, was because I have an AMD processor. The CD that came with the AVIConverter didn't have the mencoder files for AMD processors, so it wouldn't work. I went through so much trouble getting it to work, so I done a video to help others and save them time. No one helped me and it was frustrating.
I can get vids on it no problem after installing that mencoders :)

As far as I know, I think this is a clone version of the Onda models. I read it somewhere on a forum. So I can't help you with that sorry. I wanted to know the model of mine when I wanted to update the firmware but I couldn't find it. So I just left it.
Mine use to freeze on my PC a lot, it worked ok on a guest account though for some reason.

Hi there. I would say, without the earphones, the sound quality is poor. with ear phones, it's ok. though not that great where there is loud noise. I was trying to watch a movie on a plane, using different headphones which I got, with have a volume control on and I could hardly hear anything. So I'd hate to think what it's like with the normal earphones.
Basically, if there's hardly any noise, just traffic etc, then it's ok. Honestly, I was disappointed with the sound quality.
although, the cheap chinese junk just completely froze on me, after I lost a game of tetris. .it doesnt react when I switch it off or plug in the USB. now if I reset it everything on it will be lost and it'll take forever to put back XD.
A pin? You mean a stylus? Mine never came with one. I used a nintendo stylus to see if it was any better and it's not. The tip of my finger nail works best :)
i use windows xp and cant get the computer to recognize it, put it in the usb and try to drag a mp3 file to it and it says "please insert a disk into drive H" what is that, i cant even get songs on it. any clues out there?
This mp4 player is very poor. I get constant lockups. Reset erases all info. It wont work with Vista. Having troubles transferring with XP. Very disappointed. Could have been great at the cheap $50 price. Mine is useless...
I don't seem to have any problems with mine. I can get mine working on vista no problem. I also gave the link to converter (in my next vid)which is vista compatible.
I would say the player is OK. To be honest I actually thought it would have been a nice little player before I got, then when I got it, I was kinda disappointed but it does the job, so yeah...
Maybe yours need formating, or upgrading via the player plugged in to the pc.
I tried reformatting it and that really screwed it up. It powers up and is recognized now. It now only shows as 4GB and not 8GB. It will let me transfer files but can't access them once on the player. Can't even see the files on it...but you can see them by the PC.
i disagree with what you say. Its not for people who cant afford it lawl. I ordered one of these because there is no point dishing/wasting money on a 300 dollar item such as an itouch while u can get this for 30-50 bucks. Which is a big save and itouch and this both do the same thing. Its just itouch has wifi which isnt a big deal because it lags alot so its not very useful, but still useful. So yea =D
The iPod Touch and this do not do the same thing. Unless you count playing mp3 files and videos. That's about it. iPod Touch has more than just wifi, especially the new one out.
So yeah I have to disagree about them being practically the same. Even so, this "mp4 player" is ok. It still is nothing compared to the iPod Touch though.

Wow, you actually like it better than the iPod Touch. This player is fine, if you just want an mp3 player. I got fed up with converting films all the time and having some of them go out of sync. The iPod Touch is better. This is basically 4 people who can't really afford/or want the iPod touch. She already has one, so I don't see the point in her selling it. The iPod touch has A LOT more features than this.
The is a game icon which will automatically open tetris. That's it, no game menu. So yours must be a different model. Some models have a games folder/menu, if so, then you can download games on to it.

Just follow the steps in my video. WITHOUT step 2 firstly. Just do it without the AMD processor part. If it doesn't work, then go back to the part for AMD processors and try that.
I'm using the converter that comes with the mini mp4 player on the cd and it still not working. The video that came with the mini mp4 player can u delete it? cause i did delete mine it was boring and now something is telling me that i shouldn't.
As for the video that you deleted, I'm not sure if I had one on mine or not but either way, it's not on mine now. So I don't think deleting a video is going mess up the player.

What converter are you using? You can't just use any converter to change it to avi. You need to use the one on the cd that came with the player. if you read my description, it tells everything about converting the video.
I got mine aswell and Im fucking pissed. I can't get the convertor to work. I had to download it from another side since the cd didn't even work. ARGH! I also have an AMD processor so I did what angel said...Still nada. :(
my sister bought one several week s ago its alright i think she bought it for less than $75 she didn't know how to put a video on it so it took me several hours to figure it out i simply used the avi converter 3.0 followed the advice to set resolution to 320x240, quality normal and ratio 4:3 and drag and drop the file to the mp4 player folder and it worked well i might get one since i am on show string budget thanks for posting video and the info
If you plan on getting one, go for the newest model out though. I don't know what that is. Best to search on youtube for Onda or something, and see what comes up. Don't get this exact one, not worth the money to be honest.

You paid £40? for £45 you can get a 16GB 3" touch screen, you could probably even get that one cheaper now. The one I have, the 8GB you can get for under £30 inc. Postage.

Well the iPod touch is one of those "either you love it, or you hate it" gadgets. I actually like it. I like the new version, the games you can get for it. However, I wouldn't purchase the iPhone! I already have a windows phone which I think is better. I'm not one of these "apple" fans, who think apple is number 1. Coz I don't. I just like the itouch. Archos is great also, I would like to have one. Maybe I'll get one when I can afford to do so.
I bought this thing yesterday and it works fine. Connects to the PC easily and my pc is AMD. Plays every music format that i have on my PC (mp3, wmv, ogg etc.). The only thing I didn't understand is how to play tetris. And I haven't uploaded any videos yet... Overall the player is great. =D

i have one, and first off you need to claibrate the screen,
second it doesnt show you the files just the folders. if you go to pitures on the main menu and press music it will be empty.that is just so if your picture or mp3 or video is in the wrong place you can get to it. if you need help send me a message!

if you're having trouble with the sensitivity trying buying an Nintendo stylus pen. They are like 50p and will definitely improve your navigation on the touch. You can't compare it to the real touch but who can argue for a video player for £30?
Yeah, at the time.. this didn't cost me £30 it cost about £70 including postage from ebay. Which was a stupid price to pay, I know, but all the others was more expensive at that time, it was the only cheapest one and what I wanted at the time. I've used a DS stylus, it's ok, but I prefer the tip/edge of my finger nail, works awhole lot better.
dont worry, u dont need the cd (it couldnt even read it on my pc cuz it has a vertical desktop and kept falling out) just drag ur mp3s to the drive (although i think ull hav to format it first--thats wat i did to get it 2 work becuz the computer couldnt read it) then, for the video converter, u'll need AVI 3.0 converter which u could find online if u look. hope this helped =)
Then connect it back up to your PC, rename it back to the original filename and see if it works then! DO NOT just unplug you mp3 Player, safely remove the hardware using the icon near your clock on your pc (it's got a green arrow on it) Incase you didn't know. Just unplugging it can cause corrupt files, so if you still have some, then format your player and start over.

I have this and I can not get a video file to play on it. I have converted it to an .avi but when I try and play it on the player it says File Format error and goes back to the selection screen. This mp4 player is very poor. I get constant lockups. Reset erases all info. It wont work with Vista. Having troubles transferring with XP. Very disappointed. Could have been great at the cheap $50 price. Mine is useless...

I don't seem to have any problems with mine. I can get mine working on vista no problem. I also gave the link to converter (in my next vid)which is vista compatible.
I would say the player is OK. To be honest I actually thought it would have been a nice little player before I got, then when I got it, I was kinda disappointed but it does the job, so yeah...
Maybe yours need formating, or upgrading via the player plugged in to the pc.

I tried reformatting it and that really screwed it up. It powers up and is recognized now. It now only shows as 4GB and not 8GB. It will let me transfer files but can't access them once on the player. Can't even see the files on it...but you can see them by the PC.
Only thing I can say is....DON'T REFORMAT

i disagree with what you say. Its not for people who cant afford it lawl. I ordered one of these because there is no point dishing/wasting money on a 300 dollar item such as an itouch while u can get this for 30-50 bucks. Which is a big save and itouch and this both do the same thing. Its just itouch has wifi which isnt a big deal because it lags alot so its not very useful, but still useful. So yea =D

The iPod Touch and this do not do the same thing. Unless you count playing mp3 files and videos. That's about it. iPod Touch has more than just wifi, especially the new one out.
So yeah I have to disagree about them being practically the same. Even so, this "mp4 player" is ok. It still is nothing compared to the iPod Touch though.

Wow, you actually like it better than the iPod Touch. This player is fine, if you just want an mp3 player. I got fed up with converting films all the time and having some of them go out of sync. The iPod Touch is better. This is basically 4 people who can't really afford/or want the iPod touch. She already has one, so I don't see the point in her selling it. The iPod touch has A LOT more features than this.
Just my opinion but it's her choice.

The is no game menu on this player.
The is a game icon which will automatically open tetris. That's it, no game menu. So yours must be a different model. Some models have a games folder/menu, if so, then you can download games on to it.

Thanks. I tried using a stylus and it wasn't good enough, plus I don't want to be carrying a stylus around with me all the time, I'll probably lose it. I found it's easier using the tip on my finger nail. :)

The reason why i said it was the video, cuz i was watching another thing about how to put videos on a mini mp4 player, and the person said on the video that a .rar file was on the player but mine don't have it. And on the cd it only came with one converter. Now i don't know what to do

Please see my newest video. It's shows how to put videos on. that .rar file doesn't matter, mine doesn't have it either.
Just follow the steps in my video. WITHOUT step 2 firstly. Just do it without the AMD processor part. If it doesn't work, then go back to the part for AMD processors and try that.
The converter I use is vista compatible.

As for the video that you deleted, I'm not sure if I had one on mine or not but either way, it's not on mine now. So I don't think deleting a video is going mess up the player.

What converter are you using? You can't just use any converter to change it to avi. You need to use the one on the cd that came with the player. if you read my description, it tells everything about converting the video.

I got mine aswell and Im fucking pissed. I can't get the convertor to work. I had to download it from another side since the cd didn't even work. ARGH! I also have an AMD processor so I did what angel said...Still nada. :(

It should have worked if you did, unless yours is a different model. I got mine quite awhile ago. Not even sure what model mine is either.

You paid £40? for £45 you can get a 16GB 3" touch screen, you could probably even get that one cheaper now. The one I have, the 8GB you can get for under £30 inc. Postage.
The price I paid was including postage. That's why it was high also.

Well the iPod touch is one of those "either you love it, or you hate it" gadgets. I actually like it. I like the new version, the games you can get for it. However, I wouldn't purchase the iPhone! I already have a windows phone which I think is better. I'm not one of these "apple" fans, who think apple is number 1. Coz I don't. I just like the itouch. Archos is great also, I would like to have one. Maybe I'll get one when I can afford to do so.

I bought this thing yesterday and it works fine. Connects to the PC easily and my pc is AMD. Plays every music format that i have on my PC (mp3, wmv, ogg etc.). The only thing I didn't understand is how to play tetris. And I haven't uploaded any videos yet... Overall the player is great. =D

i have one, and first off you need to claibrate the screen,
second it doesnt show you the files just the folders. if you go to pitures on the main menu and press music it will be empty.that is just so if your picture or mp3 or video is in the wrong place you can get to it. if you need help send me a message!

if you're having trouble with the sensitivity trying buying an Nintendo stylus pen. They are like 50p and will definitely improve your navigation on the touch. You can't compare it to the real touch but who can argue for a video player for £30?

Yeah, at the time.. this didn't cost me £30 it cost about £70 including postage from ebay. Which was a stupid price to pay, I know, but all the others was more expensive at that time, it was the only cheapest one and what I wanted at the time. I've used a DS stylus, it's ok, but I prefer the tip/edge of my finger nail, works awhole lot better.

The program I got with the player, doesn't have the option for frame rate. It's just
resolution to 320x240, Quality Normal and Ratio 4:3 and I haven't any problems with those settings.

You're not supposed to use Total Video converter.
You're supposed to use AVIConverter which is on the cd which came with your player!

dont worry, u dont need the cd (it couldnt even read it on my pc cuz it has a vertical desktop and kept falling out) just drag ur mp3s to the drive (although i think ull hav to format it first--thats wat i did to get it 2 work becuz the computer couldnt read it) then, for the video converter, u'll need AVI 3.0 converter which u could find online if u look. hope this helped =)

Then connect it back up to your PC, rename it back to the original filename and see if it works then! DO NOT just unplug you mp3 Player, safely remove the hardware using the icon near your clock on your pc (it's got a green arrow on it) Incase you didn't know. Just unplugging it can cause corrupt files, so if you still have some, then format your player and start over.

So .. i have now exactly the same Mini Mp4 like you ( with radio and cam you didnt show it but probably you have this too ), touch sensivity could be better but so far i`m very happy with this product, i didn`t expect too much but this is a good player, not very famous but i like it! Had no problems with it videos are working fine all other things too and thanks for showing the game

Yes I know that. Thing is, I have to do more than 2 touches sometimes, quite annoying. I got the hang of it though, Better with the tip of my nail, rather than my finger or stylus. :-)

I have this and I can not get a video file to play on it. I have converted it to an .avi but when I try and play it on the player it says File Format error and goes back to the selection screen. What am I doing wrong. I even changed the size to 320x240 and frame per second to 22 and it still doesn't want to play. I have used divx and xvid to compress it HELP PLEASE!
