Mask's is more catchy and energetic, Dawn's is more in the background and ambient. I prefer the Dawn version.

Been a while since I uploaded an Ys song (time wise, not video game) and was randomly listening to stuff from IV. I've only played a little bit of Mask of the Sun and would like to delve to Dawn of Ys at some point. Interesting thing about IV is that there are two version of ys IV, and I believe neither are developed by Falcom themselves. I also believe there is a PS2 remake of one of them, and last month, announced a Vita remake devleoped by Falcom themselves. Bring it here, XSEED!
