It amazes me that Braindead is one of the greatest zombie classics ever and all we get is a bare bones dvd.  I don't think Peter Jackson even cares, maybe he's too busy counting his money ...

@XxLibra86xX thanks, finally someone who agree... personally, i grew up with these films, since the age of... god i don`t know. i love horror classics, and gore fest movies like this one. i find them better than most of the new cgi, 3D mainstream madness, simply because they are better at some point, and they have a more realistic touch to them, i could go on and on, but i wont, hard to explain but, if you like these as well, you understand.

@XxLibra86xX. I admit I like what you said about realism being used through classic things like make-up, fake blood, and prosthetics, rather than just CGI and the non-stop 3D madness.

The only downside about Braindead is that it relied mostly on numerous comedic/slapstick moments with horror, rather than TRUE horror (i.e. adding a more darker tone to what horror really is).

@MrsNezbit Actually DeadAlive was the Alternative Title. It is called Braindead everywhere else in the world, American only refers to it as Deadalive because we already made a Movie titled BrainDead before this movie came out.
