If anybody DIDN'T first hear this song from the 'Call of Duty' zombies map, I'd like to hear from them. Namely, those darkwave fans back from when the music was new.
@TonoFonseca I heard it the first time lastnight at band practice...were gonna do this as a cover...the other guitarist brought it in on a shitty tape....were all in our early 30s so our music collections run deep....sounds alot like plasmatics to me..pretty awesome!
@keithexplosion actually ive just been informed by my roomate that its in one of my favorite movies return of the living dead ....saw it for the first time prolly 86ish....thought it sounded familiar lol....awesome song regardless
I heard it for the first time off of a 'Black Ops' Zombies map trailer. I ended up buying the CD 'Sleep In Safety', and I decided to upload the song, just for fun. I had no idea my video would become one of the most popular on YouTube for those who want to listen to this tune.
I actually prefer the tune 'Procession' much better. It is much more trippy and gothic. Great for when I go for walks on country trails at night.
45 Grave was, and to an extent still is, an underground band. Their music was good, but I think they were ahead of their time; they would have done much better in the first half of the 90s, not the first half of the 80s. This song was released at a time when electronic pop, now known as "New Wave", the signature sound of the 80s, was being discovered.
@Niblipix If it changes yor mind at all, this is the theme song for Call of Duty: Black Ops' 'Call of the Dead' expansion pack. Or atleast when I saw a trailer for it this was the son that was playing. My mind was pretty blown when I realized it, lol.
@TonoFonseca nice, I actually just ordered the CD a few days ago, waitng for it to get here now. Though the first time I listned to 45 Grave was on a compilaion CD I got like a year ago. Trying to expand my CD colletion (especially in this gere) so i wanted to give these guys a try
I got an unemployment cheque from the government yesterday. $63.25.
I went out and spent half of it on CDs today. Alice Cooper's new album, a Black Sabbath greatest hits album, and Sum 41's new album. They were all on sale, so came out to 36 bucks.
@TonoFonseca Lol, damn right it is! Not too long ago I spent a paycheck on 4 CDs; Mayhem's Deathcrush, Skinny Puppy's greatest hits, Killing Joke's self titled and Choking Victim's No Gods/No Managers. Now I'm waiting on this CD (sleep in Safety) and Carpathian Forest's Strange Old Brew. I love getting new CDs, so worth it. Even if they take all your paycheck lol
@TonoFonseca: I don't get it, we're not allowed to comment expletives on a song about a five year old being tortured and raped to death? Something about that doesn't quite add up...
Thank-you, I am happy it isn't a personal fantasy.
Total random interesting bit of trivia for everybody: this song came out in 1983. If the girl spoken of in this song was five years old, that would make her birthyear 1978. Which means that if she had survived, she would be something like 33 years old today. That would make her 10 years older today than Dinah Cancer was when 'Sleep In Safety' was released.
such a great tune!

The comments section is where you mention how sweet the music is, not about anybody's personal fantasies of assaulting girls.
