I broke a piece of a PVC collar fitting off a pipe, HOW do I remove the portion of the broken collar that's still attached to the incoming water pipe(PVC) .....Just cut it off? I thought there MAY be an easy way to remove the piece that's still glued on...
@HomeAdditionPlus So.....you don't know of a way or Product to "Un-glue" a PVC joint? or have ever heard of one? ...I'm no plumber, just thinking about it, it would seem to me, that'd be Extremely hard and maybe impractical to "Un-glue" a PVC joint......I was thinking Pros in the business probably just cut it off andsplice in from there.....does that "sound" sound?
I shouldn't worry about the primer, not sure if this is in america, sounds like it but in England I dont know any plumbers including myself that use primer, i haven't heard of it until now.
very useful tips indeed, thanks!

I think your only alternative is to cut it off.

@EvanQuinn07 I believe thats what they do. The PVC glue effectively welds the joint together.
