exactly..But they took away the update all feature in 2.1 (don't ask why) then decided to bring it back for 2.2..And the landscape keyboard used to be for all keyboarded functions now its only for Some..Like internet..still no landscape keyboard for email and stuff

Yup, just restore with iTunes!

It allows you to install programs, mods, themes, and the like made by hackers. Stuff that doesn't make it into the app store. Google it!

It lets you use themes, change your ringtones and mail tones and even SEND AND RECEIVE PICTURE MESSAGES. Basically it makes the iPhone more like an Pocked PC and a better phone in general... that and of coarse using Installous to get appstore apps for the price of *cough ahem hmm ah-hmmmm cough cough!*

Oh! I just remebered, now it has flash. It's new so compatibility is low but with further updates it should improve. Just search "flash iPhone" in youtube.

They added - if you tap the battery it shows you your remaining battery in a percentage. You no longer need jailbroken for this feature.

I jailbreak my 3G with new QuickPwn. Appshare and installus works fine. Only difference is if you want to install cracked apps with iTunes, you need to install IPA Prep 2.2.

If everyone can send feedback to apple on their website dealing with the iphone,just tell them you want landscape, they say they read through all feedbacks so hopefully if we flood them with that wanted feature they will include it in future firmwares.

I actually agree with him now on the Jailbreak issue. Back before the 2.0 software was released, I could see the need to Jailbreak because people wanted third party applications for there iPhone. Now however since we have the App Store, I see no compelling reason to Jailbreak. I've tried the Jailbreak back when I had my Original iPhone & i can say from experience that this new App Store totally blows the Installer.app out of the water.

A feature that you missed: pressing the Home button twice will take you from any supplementary home screen (2nd, 3rd, etc.) back to the first. I really wished for that. Good review Jon.
