We don't mean any hostility by this, but we think the general public/media has it all wrong. Granted, someone can't hit 1 home run in 1 at bat and make it to the hall of fame. But one can't just look at quantitative statistics and use that as a basis for calling someone a legend.

Um, in a word, 'no.' Career WARP3 of 113.5, which dwarfs almost every other HoF SS outside of the all-time legends like Honus Wagner. Cal Ripken, even without the streak, is a 1st ballot HoFer and rightfully so.

right now, Jed Lowrie is terrible. JUST awful. and WARP3 is a very flawed statistic. Basically its like a stat of guessing. If Ripken Jr was voted in first ballot based on WARP3, i'd be very surprised. basically, he's overrated.
