  • filtered water + a little bit of green stevia + drops of fresh lemon juice + shake vigorously = best and healthiest lemonade ever

  • I never use stevia. Over the summer I discovered by mistake that I was growing it in my garden. I was making Anni Phyo's gazpacho recipe which calls for fresh herbs. So I walked out to the garden to see what kind of herbs were ready to be picked and I picked what looked like tarragon, which of course it turned out to be stevia. It was actually really yummy! At first I thought that I was just using really good sweet tomatoes, but I took a bite of the leaf and realized what I had.

  • Drinking a green tea with a litte honey inside is also bad habit?

  • Yo, great video guys! I really enjoy the green powder stevia. I use it nearly everyday in small amounts. My fertility works. :-) But then again, I have cacao powder nearly daily in small amounts too. My health plan is cool with natural unheated caffeine alkaloids etc...

  • I use a teaspoon a day. I use the white stuff though. I do plan to order the green Stevia next month:o)

  • Sorry about the caps lock and the many times i posted i couldn"t see my comment up so i just kept posting...sorry.

  • @PastorErickDMarquez Ok, it's all right, I just thought you were spamming, :)

  • I use the white powder form of Stevia every so often to sweeten teas. I didn't know that it could potentially cause infertility, or other, issues. I have been using more naturally-occuring sweeteners as of late, anyway--such as honey. Thanks for the info!

  • WARNING STEVIA IS A MUTAGEN :WICH MUTATES OUR CELLS AS IT COMES IN CONTACT WITH THEM..STEVIA IS A HYBRID PLANT NOT WILD OR NATURAL STAY AWAY PLEASE..LOOK IT UP......!Hybrid plants are plants produced by impregnating the pistil of one species with the pollen of another. It's not natural plant found in nature it was created by this prosses.

  • @PastorErickDMarquez Stevia, the herb,is NOT a mutagen, in fact is a real treasure from Nature, the Guarani Indians had known it for centuries.

But you must be careful with GMO Stevia used by important brands,or the white powder that isn't Stevia but its active principle. Please, research, sugar&aspartame industry are horrified that Stevia is going to compete with them, and are spreading this absurd rumors.I hope you're not one of them since I've seen your message spammed everywhere...

  • @PastorErickDMarquez

    Hey asshat

I was just in Ecuador recently and picked wild stevia from one of their national parks. It is a wild naturally occuring herb that grows like a weed. Before making ignorant statements, why don't you get off of google and wikipedia and experience life a little and find other information and perspectives. Yes, asshat was quite necessary to addressing you properly.

  • @jeremymerriamdotcom Well (mr.silly name caller) if you went to a garden or forest and picked some orange carrots(ingot) or white potato's or beets(red ace) you would say hey its in the wild so it's natural .But it is not true ,just because you say it is natural does not make it so...these are hybrid plants and roots that were created un-naturaly.

  • @PastorErickDMarquez

I hope that your preaching of kindness and love does wonders for your community oriented stuff, but in all seriousness, you really need to step out of the discussion when it comes to health oriented topics. I do not mean this to come off as a jerk but have you really taken a look into a mirror and realize you are not the poster child for health-relate "propaganda". Have some self-awareness Erick. Oh, and you are dead wrong about this stevia discussion. Debate ended

  • @jeremymerriamdotcom THE TRUTH SHALL MAKE YOU FREE BUT IF YOU WANNA USE IT FINE RUB IT ON YOUR HEAD OR SPRINKLE IT ON YOUR STRAWBERRIES IT'S UP TO YOU...

  • Great answer about the Stevia!! Yes, grow your own stevia it's the best thing to do, and do not forget that Stevia is being modified genetically, cause all those beverages companies want its sweet taste but not its medicinal properties. In many countries like mine it is still forbidden (I can grow it however), food industry do not want it to compete with harmful sugar or aspartame. And please, remember that Stevia is very very sweet, just use a really small amount, otherwise you won't like it!

  • There is stevia in the protein powders i use, so i use it about everyday. Honestly I dont like the taste of stevia, i bought a bottle of it and havent even used half of it in a year. I just use the protein powders made with it because id rather not use the alternative. Even tho i should probably not use these powders at all, they are convienient when i dont have time ot make a high protein meal

  • Well many studies use rats... so I wouldn't consider that a real solid reason dismiss the studies. The key point sounds like #3: The pounds of stevia they're being fed, that is a lot of sweetener...

  • I dont use stevia since i dont like the taste (tastes like aspartame to me). But i've used it in a few desserts I've made for my diabetic father.

  • never used stevia curious but I rarely ever use sweetner

  • @PastorErickDMarquez What's a hybrid plant?

  • @Ozzurfer Hybrid plants are plants produced by impregnating the pistil of one species with the pollen of another. It's not natural plant found in nature it was created by this prosses.

  • I use the liquid stevia, just a drop or two a day. I've never had any problems with it.

  • does anyone know where i can find green stevia

  • @TheYvonne1313 rawguru(dot)com

  • when in doubt - LEAVE IT OUT!! I try to stay away from sugar all together unless its naturally occuring is fruit/veggies. And i really dont like all these "sugar substitutes" that are out there. they are on the market for one purpose only...to give you a sweet flavor with no calories. no nutritional values at.

  • My mom had this powdered Stevia stuff that I ate and it about made me sick! It was the white powdered stuff. I'm scared to try anything else since I'm known to have adverse effects to any form of sugar substitute. :p

  • I use stevia quite a lot actually... also the white stuff (oops) but I want to lower my stevia intake and start using coconutsugar for recipes. Are you still positive about the coconutsugar-products?? :-)

  • Yes I intake stevia it is in the Sunwarrior Raw Vegan Protein and Ormus Green. Maybe i should just stick to health force products.

  • Hi Kevin and Annmarie,

First of all: I love your shows. Very entertaining and informative!

I am from Holland and the information about raw foods and its results on health is very rare in our language. So my question is: which five book do I have to read to be good informed and, maybe more important: which three book should be, in your opinion, translated into Dutch?

  • @boelepytsma I am from Holland too. And I am finding there is a lot of information available via Mastercare Amsterdam. There have been some books translated to Dutch. Feel free to send me a message if you want to connect and share info on rawfoodism in Holland ;-)

  • I had 3 drops of stevia in my almond coconut milk and green juice. I do not see any correlation to fertility issues that we see these days. We do so much other harms to our bodies like drinking coca cola, eating burgers, donuts and other foods that we cannot even pronounce.

  • I've been using the white powdered daily stevia in a cup or two of Tulsi tea with almond or hemp milk... the green powder looks and tastes funky in tea... Hmm... will give it another try! No worries about fertilitiy here... that ship has sailed! LOL But, of course, I'm concerned about the health impact of processed stevia, so will try to minimize it's use...

  • The only time I tried stevia was actually as the whole leaf... I was growing it in my herb pot last summer. Too much of it tastes like soap... :S

  • Stevia taste bitter to me! I also tried the Truvia pakets and experienced pain in my joints like shards of glass!!!!

  • Keven, study the difference between CNS and Cardiovascular stimulants! Cacao is not the same thing as coffee.

  • Actually just picked up some today, haven't tried it in anything yet. Tubes are tied, so fertility isn't a concern ;)

  • i didnt know it came as a ground leaf ive tryed many sweetners and nothing has been worth it so far will look for the green leaf type i love a challenge thanks for the idea ill get back to you when in fact i find it and weather i like it iam at the point that iam ready to say nevermind on the whole thing one last effort i think

  • I am actually eating the white powder in my oatmeal right now....lol!

  • @MichaelLockardTV FREAK!!!

  • @StomperReed HAHA!

  • WARNING STEVIA IS A MUTAGEN :WICH MUTATES OUR CELLS AS IT COMES IN CONTACT WITH THEM..STEVIA IS A HYBRID PLANT NOT WILD OR NATURAL STAY AWAY PLEASE..LOOK IT UP......!

  • I have used both but the green leave a grass or even a kelp like taste, use very little

  • Tried the white stuff and hated it... Have not tried the green stuff. I use raw honey and date sugar...

  • so how does cacao make it a stimulant??

  • my friends have huge plant of it , they juiced some , all I had to do is dip spoon in the liquid not even fill the spoon , just wet it ,and deep it with what ever I wanted sweetened , worked grt

  • I have some of the green powder. Hadn't used it in awhile, added some to my smoothie the other day. It was horrible lol. I forgot how much I hate stevia! The only way it's good is boiled with other herbs into a tea. It's a weird plant. Hey what's wrong with a nut based diet?! Nuts are a pretty good source of greatness.

  • The last time I used stevia was today in iced tea.....I'm loving it! :-)

  • What do you think of liquid stevia?

  • I've only been able to find the white powder or liquid Stevia. I think it tastes like poison and it makes me nauseous, so i agree...stay away from white powders.

  • Thank you!

  • I don't think that I've ever had stevia.

  • thanks !

what supplements do you take o na regular basis?

i use stevia on my yougurt, and sometimes on juices, like 4 days a week, so 4 DropS ! :)

  • Comment removed

  • Haha yeah, I mean who would be so silly as to eat a banana centered diet?!

  • Maybe I don't know here to look, but I have yet to see green Stevia in stores. I'm always finding the white stuff.

  • I used stevia (the green, crushed leaf kind) several times a day in my tea. My friends (who aren't health-food-eaters by any means) have started using it, too.
