The Hagen website has a extension for the intake tube, I have a 20 g tall tank and will get an extension, so the tube is further towards the bottom. The extension would help u too.

What do you have to change out in this filter? as in like filter medias or carbon bags? and how often do you have to change it?

@ThatFishTankMan63 My monthly maintenance would include cleaning the entire filter by taking the entire thing apart and changing the media with new poly/foam filter pads. I don't use activated carbon in the filter I use a separate reactor called the via aqua poly reactor for my chemical filtration. I change that about once a month as well, thanks for watching!
