Should be testing both these guns with .25's also I can clearly see that the wind is in fact effecting the test more than you think. If you use .25's you'd have better results plus they would compromise with the windage

I have bought several echo 1 guns and they have never ceased to amaze me. my friend owns a classic army p90 and he wanted to trade it for my jg. lol all in all I would say echo 1 is a good brand. if I could I would buy KWA but id have to sell all of my guns to buy one of those

I have shot the echo 1, the CA and the TM... I found the echo 1 to be a decent shot compared to the CA similar to this video, however the quality of the CA is better for sure. The TM has the better performance and looks but the gun is expensive and requires a lot of accessories to get it shooting... if you don't want to spend more than 200 I would go with the echo 1, if you are willing to spend a little over 200 but want a better looking gun get the CA and if you are rich get the TM

I see why the accuracy is shit, your using .2 gram (percision). Use .25 and up for greater accuracy and less wind pull.

@MrRaghead69 the hop-up gives the BB a certain amount of back spin, so when the BB flies through air it creates over pressure on the bottom and under pressure on the top, "lifting" it (actually not lifting but making it less affected by gravity).

In short: it makes the BB fly further (not more accurate, as the spin along the long axis in a real bullet)

I'm not saying the Echo 1/Jg G36c is bad...I've had one before it was actually my first AEG....but sadly it broke in the first 6 months...it's true that you don't get a battery on the CA but do you really want a crappy 8.4 battery? I'd rather pay for quality not quantity...echo 1 for beginners...CA for intermediate to pro players

your hop-up was really off on the echo-1. you mentioned earlier that you were using different bbs in the guns, a poor comparison test on your part. i believe i have an echo-1 version G36C and i have figured out through time what the best hop-up level is, and how i have it makes it go perfectly straight without falling or rising. i use 0.2 bio bbs and a red-dot scope. the site i got my gun from says it's made with metal bushings though, which may affect the power or accuracy, im not sure.

First off i would like to say that That there is a version 3 echo1 G36c (MK36c) for about 200$ and they have accounted for all of the know problems shown in this video, there also is a new CA version for 300$ and the price is a ripoff, they basically just improved thelooks and added 100$, its what u choose but in my opinion, i have considered everything and i have purchased both and tested them at stock and for 100$+ bucks less the echo1 is worth it.

if your going to buy a new airsoft i would reccomend an AK,47 spatznaz or an MP5 i got both, and i have to say out of all the guns i have owned, those two are my favorites, i switched out the gearbox in my classic army MP5 with a tokyo marui gearbox, and i have to say its been a great decision, and it wasnt too expensive, i got M16's beat on accuracy and i got MP5 and MP7 beat on FPS and rate of fire

AK for some reason can last incredibly long, and MP5 are just so solidly amazing, and the performance is overly amazing, with proper tuning and if someone with a little know how tinkers and changes some parts, it can end up being almost un matchable.

In these semi harsh conditions (with the low temperature and wind) the Echo 1 stood a pretty good chance against the Classic Army. My opinion, i'd go with the Echo 1 since its at least $50 cheaper than the Classic Army. With that extra cash, i'd put some upgrades into it that would surpass the CA by far. But hey, thats just my opinion.

Thats true, but I'd rather get a Classic Army. I could upgrade it later and the externals look a lot better. When I buy an airsoft gun, I want to make sure the externals are good because I would likely replace a lot of the internals anyway.
