when I was fighting the daedra, i fled inside the chapel and one of them killed martin. Do I have to start over?

i got to the part where i have to escort jaffaure and martin to the cloud ruler temple but i went to do shivering isles after this aprt and i ended up doing the whole shivering isles and now i went back to finish the quest where i had to escort them and i cant find them and everytime i go to the temple it wont open and i am stuck i need help please.

Guys , i just downloaded oblivion on the xbox 360 , and if i go to cloud ruler temple, the game freezes , does anybody know what i can do about it?

im really stuck on this i shut the gate of oblivion the talk to the gaurd guy then i clear the area and go into the chapel but martin is'nt there he's in the cloud temple wtf!!!! so when he sais lets go to weynon priory he dont follow me atall i can only get him to move if i attack him its retarded i dont know why it happened can someone help plz plz plz plz coz i cant carry on woth the game other wise

@mizzbizz123 You do not have to take Martin to Weynon Priory. If you go there yourself it will activate the quest even if you have Martin with you or not. So don't worry about it.

martin is marked as an essential character so he can only be "knocked unconscious" and he will get up about 30 seconds later.

i really need help with this quest, i screwed up big time. I got to the chapel but i didnt talk with martin and i just talked with the other guy and we set off to clear the town and get the counts ring. And i got back and all the people left the chapel but i cant find martin. i went to base camp and they say they think he didnt make it out of the city. So im stuck. Please message me if u have the answer.

I think im bugged on this quest because ive done everything but i cant find martin and whenever i ask the refugees about him they say talk to savlian matius but when i talk to him he just talks about how kvatch was destroyed before and they will rebuild it. i could really use some help.

for me martin was down where the refugees were and i helped the guard before ifinished of the quest with martin

DAMMIT I ROYALING SCREWED UP ON THIS QUEST

Instead of looking for Martin I talked to the guard now i'm stuck in the castle because the damn regular scamps keep killing me.

ima get elderscrolls 3 morrorwind or w/e its called i cant reember is it worth it? i heard it can be beat in like 17 min's or low as 20 min's butthat theres alot more stuff to do and you can ride mounts is that true?

there are mods for the mounts, look up "Pegas horse ranch" and it should show up.
