Yep, i play mostly Black/Death metal and i have a Gibson Les Paul Standard. Works Perfect!

Hehe, I play anything from Classic Rock to Heavy Metal on my SG.
Gibson guitars are pretty much the most versatile guitars I know, and I've played a lot of other guitar brands as well.
In the end, we have to agree with Gibson's old advertisement: "Only a Gibson Is Good Enough" :)
