  • In answer to the questions below I think the machine you are referring to is the image intensifier...in the UK we just call it the C arm......

  • i also want to know about this machine..plz kindly tell us..

  • could anybody kindly enough tell me what is the device's name that is above the patient which it takes exray images and feed them back live on the monitor?

it is an adjustable machine tha is half above the patient and half below. I just want to know the name of that machine plz

  • its great and informative and remove that convention that youtube contains only fake and foolish videos.......i like it........thanks to NURSEGWADZ 4 this support......

  • Coronary angio is the gold standard of detection. It allows blockages to be detected and treated in one procedure (if radiation exposure and contrast load allow). CT angio does not. The music helps the time go by, you must realize that the cardiologists and support staff perform many of these procedures in a day and it can get boring just standing there listening to one another breathe.

  • which angiography is good? coronary or CT please advise

  • I have worked in the OR and Cardiac Cath Lab over 20 years, and there is music if the surgeon or interventionalist requests it. These procedures are visual, and the music never overtakes the ability to speak or hear each other.

It by NO means indicates that what we do is not taken seriously.

  • Just a question. Why would they have music playing while doing this procedure? Whether practice or not, it is to be taken very seriously. Sometimes they have the radio on in the main office, but never in the actual operating room...

  • Getting that done to me tomorow

  • I would also like to use this video in a presentation. I will give you props in the pres. Amazing video!

  • Any chance I could use parts of this video in a presentation I'm giving in a fortnight as part of my MSc in radiography?

    Cheers

  • Did he need a stent?

  • why the exclusive for physicians?

    great video, good camera

  • Videos like this one and other medical videos are now available exclusively for physicians from all the world on symposier .(com) , it is closed for physicians only. They just lunch the site and it's open to share videos and other files; post questions to other physicians, networking and to publish also info of future events"
