For all of you struggling with this it's actually not that hard.

All you need to do is get a good initial grab on the box and if you cut the angles properly you can make it to the ledge pretty easily. Make sure you get a good grab initially and just pull it all the way there, you'll actually have plenty of time believe it or not. I figured this out after about an hour or so of rage.

Good trick IF you have magic left. Took me about twenty tries to get it. My strategy was pull it out of the hole, one full blast, one second full blast towards the room, a third half blast to get by the corner, and finally a final full blast to position it correctly.

I have finished GoW II & III on the hardest setting and can't get past this even on medium. I hope whoever approved this at Sony/S.M. lost their job. They have ruined it, dumb stuff like this in games isn't fun, it isn't interesting, it is just annoying and frustrating. I want my money back, silly puzzles are OK as long as you get to interesting combat but this is just annoying. Games are meant to be fun, how could they forget that, or worse, think this is fun. I wish I didn't buy this so much

I did it without using the glitch! :D I just used kick but waited until after Kratos had done grunting to release 'X' so as to get most distance from each kick. But I still didn't reach under the ledge, instead I had to make the jump from near the wall that splits the room in two. Thanks again for the video though!

I didn't have either, but did it the proper way at just the second time of trying. Just pull the box (you don't need to kick it) only as far as you need to to make the double jump up to the ledge.

@kimchibaka unfortunately you need the magic to perform the trick, you can do it by the legal way, but in the ps3 version, the programers took away 4 seconds, so it is very tuff.

I was worried after reading so many people having trouble with messages on here, but I passed it very easily just the second go!

@rivach45 To pass it legally I dragged the box diagonally towards the doorway at first. I never changed the side of the box I was pulling or pushing, and never kicked. I moved the box to the first area of bloodstain on the floor. I didn't do it perfectly, but I passed this section easily. When I've made a video in a few weeks I will post a link here for you :)
