Joe Pass And Tal were great innovators... but not comparable... Andreas sound like Andreas he has learned almost every jazz lick from Django to George Benson and everyone in between fusing them together in his solos to create something amazing... don't get me wrong he would have been nothing without his predecessors of course but hey that's Jazz. As the great George Benson says " If you don't want me to take it don't play it"
It does not take a genius to recognize where he found inspiration for this one:

There is quite some old school Joe Pass in his solo. Mixed with his modern sounds its a worthy tribute to Joe while still being original stylistically. Andreas is the man!
Not only he is a virtuoso, he knows what he is playing. His solos follow chord by chord in the best tradition of the great players like Jose Pass, Tal Farlow etc. GREAT!!!
Solo och solo... snarare fyror. Men visst, han är bra! Hade honom som pianolärare under ett år här i Malmö och har lärt mig jättemycket av hans sätt att undervisa.
is anyone having a clue of what exact guitar and model Andreas uses here?

Nice, and yes, he does a good job maintaining his own sound while providing a wonderful Joe Pass approach to his lines.
