1.Shuffle decks, then give to opponent to cut.

2.draw 7 cards and place prizes

3. Place any basic types you have into play

4. Flip coin, winner goes first

5. place 1 energy per turn.

6. attack if enough energy are attached.

7.trainer cards have no limit per turn.

8.read effects and apply as directed, most invole coin toss.

9. grab all prizes, knock out all pokemon, or make opponent run out of cards in deck to win.

There is more strategy involved, but that's the basics.
