  • these guys whent to my highschool but are never talked about by the admistration because they dropped out. hahahahah. I always tryed to bring it up when we were doing things to honnor famos people from our school. But they still refuse to regonize them. Love the band though, grew uo on that stuff!

  • Dude, the audio is freakin' amazing for a home vid shot from the crowd. I need to see these guys live.

  • I love soul asylum!! and this song it's awesome

  • The bass player is George Mckelvey. Plays with Hookers and Blow, Rhythm Jones and The B-Team all local bands. :)

  • wow, i sure am glad he is my uncle dave....

  • The guy playing bass in this video is Tommy Stinson of the Replacements and Guns N' Roses. When Tommy doesn't play, some guy named George plays. Don't know anything about him.

  • Soul Asylum is one of my favorite bands, and I LOVE this song. It touches the core and the heart. One of their best. If your life's a mess, remember you're blessed. Stand up and be strong. Thanks.

  • Yeah! I hear you. Your welcome.

  • it is pretty fucking awesome- what ive come to expect from soul asylum

  • Such a great band

  • You can also catch Soul Asylum right on the beach FREE and eats lots of seafood in the process at Hollywood Beach, Florida at the Clambake Festival on Sat. Sept. 29, 2007 at 9pm. The festival dates are Sept. 28, 29, 30, and other acts include The Romantics, New Orleans' own Porter Batiste Stoltz, and funky trombone brass band Bonerama. All FREE.

  • The Zeppelin song is called "Thank You". Saw them this weekend in Las Vegas, awesome show. Anyone know who is playing bass now? He was introduced as George.

  • His name is George Mckelvey. Very dedicated artist. He is also playes in Hookers & Blow and the B-Team. Both Mpls based bands and worth checking out.

  • thanks!

  • Great sound quality! I rarely see videos of shows that actually have really good sound. The visual aspect not so great, but I really enjoyed listening to it.

  • I am so bad, I have lived in MN all my life and I just first saw them last weekend at the myth with Cyndi Lauper, Lifehouse and local band Mint Condition. I did go to see Soul Asylum and Cyndi which I also never seen at a show before. Better late than never, right? Only problem with that show was they all had shorten sets. But it was a benifit concert for a guy named Wain.

    "Thank You" Led Zeppelin

  • I don't know, but it occurs at 3:50 if anyone else knows.

  • What Led Zepplein song is that that Pirner sings a few seconds on? It got Tommy Stinson to laugh.

  • I'm pretty sure the two guys are their tour manager, Ben and a roadie/guitar tech whose name I don't know.

  • Yeah, it was impossible to hole the camera still at that zoom level, and I'd had 4 summits by then. Not sure whom the band was comprised of.

I do have more.. Runaway Train and such. I'll post more soon.

  • Great song! .... although the camera work nearly made me loose my lunch .... who were the extra two guys on guitar .... any more from the summit show? Post 'em if ya got 'em
