Pretty daring for a maiden flight! I think i'd just be hovering tail-in. Looks like a really good heli and you've clearly set it up well. Hope you don't mind me asking but where are you flying.
Alishanmao, I have just purchased my HBK3 and absolutely love it, takes a bit of getting used to coming from a 4 ch to a 6 ch. However i`m having a bit of a headache with the main rotors, one blade is running higher than the other and although i have read the book to try and adjust it my efforts seem to get me no where. Are there any measuring tools that solve the issue easier or am i gonna have to keep trying with it?
well you are certainly out of blade tracking. kindly check google Finless bob and his tutorials or find finless bob on helifreak com look for his tutorial on blade tracking. I am going to do a blade tracking tutorial soon. if you like you can drop me an email and I can guide you how to do blade tracking. its easy
nice flying. if i could fly my king2 like that id be a happy man. i just dont have the confidence to take it her up high and really fly it round properly, even though its second nature on the sim
I need help on choosing a first time ever heli. I bought the HBK3 and I am afraid to fly it because I don't know what I am doing. Anyone have any suggestions for a good stable helicopter for a beginner?
id get a small fix pitch, as co axials dont teach you much and CP's are too complex for beginner, and difficult and expensive to repair all the time. so id recommend maybe the eflite blade msr. its v stable, agile and can take a crash. i have HBK2 but think i might just get an msr instead as the king is a total hassel to repair after each and every tiny incident -which you cant avoid.
Alishanmao I have been watching alot of your videos and I want to thank you very much for them. I bought a HBK3 and it is my very first time to fly RC. I had no idea what I was getting into when I purchased a 6 channel. Please help me out by telling me how the controls work or would u do a video for me showing me? like which way moves the bird up,down, sideways, etc? I appreciate you.
lol man, i can't do that. those are like too much to describe and I have to post like 10 videos to show people. best thing is to understand the basics Ailerons, Rudder, Elevator, Pitch etc and Get a flight simulator if you want your HBK3 to live :) Go get a Realflight G3.5 or G4 and practice :)
Hello there, have you ever had any belt problems lifetime wise? Do they last a very long or are they a constant problem? and is the pinion the same? do they ware out a lot?
I own RealFlight G4.5 and have been impressed, but if you love E-flight products as I do, I'd get the Phoenix flight sim... I believe it's the same price at around $180. I think I will be getting a Honey Bee King 3 when I progress to collective pitch helis... a nice flying little heli.
I have been flying this coaxial esky comanche (the esky llama v4 with a different skin) and I was wondering if the king three would be a good upgrade since i have gotten pretty good on the coaxial. Any suggestions?
O THAT WOULD ROCK! i think i will just get the honey bee fp v2 to get back into helis. after that id like to move to the cp v2. id like to get it now but i think id rather crash the fp than the cp (for obvious reasons LOL!)
hi Ali , thank you for showing me to get the heli ,Oh man , belt cpv2 is really stable first time I did hang it up 5 min , I got axe cpv3 before and I've never hang it up on air about 3 seconds then I follow what you said : get HB FP first then get belt cpv2 , now I 'm so exciting about them
hi Ali , my honey bee FP ' mix controller 2.4 GHz is broken by heavy rain , I want to buy another 4 in 1 but I don't know I can use the new one with my own transmitter , how I can bind ? thanks !
Hey which helicopter do you recommend? The Honey bee king 3 or the Belt CP v2? I already have a lama 2-1 and its freakin awsome! im thinking of getting one of the esky ones for christmas
welcome. physics in FMS are totally not real, they suck bad time. If you want real physics and see the difference get realflight G3.5 or G4. I practiced on G3.5 for one week and I was doing inverted hovers ;D
I just got a honey bee fp today , oh man a lots of fun on this heli , first 30 minutes I crashed it 10 times and broke 1 blade after that I trim it and now I can hang it on the air about 15 seconds hopefully I can fly this bird after a week
Complete beginner well if you are planning to buy 2 helis, then go for honey bee 2 (its not 3D) its beginner training heli, see videos of "Honey Bee 2" on my channel. after you get skills you can buy a King 3 or Belt CPV2 highly recommended. :)
buy this helicopter! It's great! If you're in the uk, buy one from heliguy.. And pay for it to be setup by them, mine flew properly right out of the box!
hahaha, you are getting good observation mate. yes those were stall turns. as I flew helis outside the simulator after almost 8 months or more now and I was also getting used to the inputs of the heli stock radio. on simulator I use my Futaba 7Ch radio and it takes real little inputs to control turns, but these helis stock radios need real big input to turn n control :D
do u think i should buy this my first big helicopter and does it go high

both are good helis. choice is all yours. I love both of them. Belt CP V2 is more stable as its big. Honey King 3 is faster and more agile in 3D
alishanmao 2 years ago

most of website give free sim when we buy this heli , I have too
I think I will spend more time for sim than fly this heli 'cause I have no time to play
I like this HBFP anytime I crash it then every thing is still fine
Now I can hang it up to 1 minute

I just got a honey bee fp today , oh man a lots of fun on this heli , first 30 minutes I crashed it 10 times and broke 1 blade after that I trim it and now I can hang it on the air about 15 seconds hopefully I can fly this bird after a week
