Are you sure you should be working on Manga? I think that's only for the Japanese. As for anime, it's fine if you want to live on a meager wage.. >>

Well, a fellow artist named Mark crilley (here on youtube) has his own manga series, and he doing very good. Another awesome series I read is made by a Korean, so I believe anyone can make a Manga with the right skills and passion. Peace.
