@honeyxox3 Hello! I did not do it to be equal to men. In fact, that would take away from the whole meaning for me. I don't believe that doing what a man does makes us equal. I think that the perception that "aspiring" to be masculine makes us equal is a simplification of the issue. I did it because it's what I wanted to do. As someone with a haircut fetish, I am not neutral to your act. But you look good. Interesting project for women's studies. I recall 40 years ago women I knew who cut their long hair short (not bald or eve that short) to protest received images.
I wish I had your courage, my hair is my obsession and my curse (I have trich) and all I want to do is shave it off, but my hair holds my entire identity.... which is sad, and why I want to get rid of all of it.
@heidishoshana I don't know a lot about trich, but I can only imagine that it would be difficult to live with. Maybe someday you'll get the courage to shave your head. I bet it would be liberating for you. :)
