The young singers nowadays don't seem to understand the copyright infringement. if you have to copy, give proper credit and do it as good, if not better, than the original one. God bless Eritrea and Ethiopia!
It's unethical for an artist to use some one else's work as his own and fail to give credit to the original singer. It OK to copy a song and sing it with a little or no change to the lyrics and arrangement. Gosay( Waa ) and Abdu Kiyar( Merkato seferie) changed a Tigrigna song into Amharic and published it in their respective albums. Nothing wrong with that because, in doing so, they gave proper credit to the original singers. I respect them for that.

little mink, this is not eri song. its ethiopian owned song. the orginal song was by tesfay belay from adwa, and after that engeener asgedom sang it and then after tekle tesfazgi sang it again. u people dont know anything apart from isayas afewerki. u have really identity crisis!!!
dont talk bullshit, we can speak amharic, its our national language. we r ethiopians. we have our own languae too and we us that in our land(tigray). why do u think the tigre, bilen, saho, rashyda, kunama, afar etc....in erirea speaks tigrigna???? they have their own langauge but as long as my language tigrigna is national language in eritrea they must be able to speak it. otherwise, when they go down to asmera no body will serve them. if u understand wht i am talking.
